P*ss Take Interest Rates from the World's Worst Bank

Useless product from the world's worst bank. Currently paying (sic) 0.2 per cent. Linked to my 'Spend and Save' account that offered cashback for the first six months then absolutely nothing so is utterly indistinguishable from any other current account. I can't think of a single good thing to say about the eSavings account which is why most of my savings are with an instant access account at the Coventry Building Society - excellent, and with immediate transfers to and from TSB. Everything TSB does is bad, apart from the bits that are abysmal. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2022

Difficulties with simple requests and incorrect charges applied

After being charged incorrectly on several occasions, I had difficulties in getting the problems resolved with the customer services team, despite the matter being relatively straightforward. I closed the account in the end as I was concerned with further charges being applied. Reviewed on: 12th July 2017

Interest(ing)

Took a while to set up a Classic Plus Account, which is understandable to ensure security, but worthwhile in the end, with 3% interest on balances of up to £1500. Staff were always helpful and friendly. However latest offers connected with the account are disappointing - £5 cash back per month for using your debit card (but you have to use it something like an eye-watering 20 times a month!) and £5 cash back per month for having two direct debits with them (but it only lasts for about a year). They will have to do better than this if they want me to take up further offers, but I still think the 3% interest is great. Reviewed on: 9th July 2017

E-savings Made Easy!

The TSB E-saving account is a great way to keep track of your money. I can monitor it whenever I want by using their fantastic app and I am able to see what I am spending my money on helping me to see where I can cut back on my spending to save money. Reviewed on: 16th January 2017
