Fair Insurance

I have been a customer for over 2 years with this company, both our cars are insured with them now. Every year I do a price comparison just to check, but this insurers renewal prices are always fair and I have not found cheaper cover for what I have with them. I have never claimed so can’t comment on that process. I am happy to give them a good review, as they have always been fair with their prices. Reviewed on: 27th July 2023

Duplicated car insurance then charged £25 for the pleasure

On buying a newer car upgraded existing cover. Dial direct duplicated charge to credit card which took 3 phone calls to get sorted, then charged £25 'Admin Fee' refused to remove. Do not touch this company. Reviewed on: 25th July 2023

Rubbish

Do not use this car insurer. They use several other companies to deal with their claims. I had an accident and needed repairs to the rear of my vehicle. This happened in October 22, it is now January 2023 and still no one has collected the car to even begin the repairs! They use enterprise rental car company as their middle man who obviously are making a fortune out Of renting replacement cars out and it’s in their interest to do that for as long as possible. All the while our (everyone’s) premiums go up. Enterprise have been useless and organising a repair company- total shambles. All companies are impossible to talk to and have 45 minute waiting times. Rip off

RIP OFF

This company is a disgrace I got a car insurance quote off compare the market 20.06.21 to insure my car from 19.07.21 which was favourable so I proceeded to buy there product I made my first installment of £42.47 and relieved my welcome pack and documentation after the payment however the insurer I was allready with matched there quote so I decided to stay with them I rang DIAL DIRECT 14.07.22 to stop the policy commencing to be told there was a £38.00 charge I explained under consumer law I was allowed a 14 day cooling off period from either when the policy was issued or when the insurance commenced which ever was the later they operator Olivia was most unhelpful and said you should have read our welcome pack it states on page 11 if the insurer or customer cancels the policy within 14 days there is a £38.00 charge this is all well and good but you don't get the documents until you pay the first installment by then it's to late they have allready ripped you off iam just glad I found out how under hand they are before it was too late and had to make a claim to then get ripped off iam going to take this matter further it might only be £38.00 but when this happens again and again the £38.00 soon add up Reviewed on: 14th July 2021

Total headache of an Insurance Company

I have had my car insured by this company for about a month. In this time they have increased the policy amount, and overcharged on my first direct debit by more than double the agreed instalment amount. They have sent me letters to say the policy value was reduced, when in fact it increased value on the letter. I have complied with all of their requirements in terms of providing NCD and no details on the policy have changed. I have now been informed that it will take up to 8 weeks to review my complaint while I continue to be charged above the original amount agreed for the policy. I only went with this company because of the low price and road side assistance recovery. I would never take another policy out with them again and will definitely go with more reputable companies in future. Reviewed on: 11th May 2021

Brilliant Customer Service

DD put up our Insurance on 2 cars this year but after giving them a quick buzz we ended up with all bells and whistles on both cars for less than £350 this year. The rep was amazing in how she managed to get our prices down and touch wood we have had no problems for the second year running Reviewed on: 30th October 2016
