Awful

Terrible service, Endsleigh subcontracted virtually everything they could making it impossible to manage the situation effectively when my car was written off by another driver. Communication was very poor, 16 months later and the accident still isn't settled for insurance purposes. Reviewed on: 30th May 2017

Ombudsman take note of this shower of an insurer..............

Took out a policy, all seemed OK, spotted a mistake in first 12 hours after reading thoroughly and got charged £30, then this deemed our policy need to be another £50 a year more, I then spotted the change I was charged for was done incorrectly and guess what, they want another £30 and claim we told them the wrong information first time and second time, I just can't get rid of my £30's quick enough with these fraudsters. Cancellation fee.

So I bought a new car over Christmas, got a good deal from a new insurer and called Endsleigh yesterday to cancel my previous policy. Well they charged me £75 just to cancel and blamed ME for not letting them quote on a new vehicle (despite comparison websites putting them much more expensive than others). I can understand if I just wanted to switch but I having bought a new car I consider it extortion to keep business rather than allowing customers to make an informed decision. I will never deal with Endsleigh again nor recommend them to anyone I know. Reviewed on: 20th January 2017

Avoid like the plague!!!

Insured cars for 30yr, this company gave a competitive price for my daughter! But really really avoid like the plague - worst customer service, holding on the line for excess of 20mins, no-one seems to know what they are doing and cancellation fee of £75!!!!! Reviewed on: 19th September 2016

Avoid, not worth the hassle!!

Please avoid the company at all costs, I was always with them as a student and used them again for my car insurance as cheap. However after an accident, the pittanc that they offered was embarrassing, especially after they insisted that it was market value (was about half of the price for a replacement car of similar spec). ai did appeal but only got the wame prearrange waffle and the case was closed much to my annoyance. OK if you want cheap insurance with an old banger as a student but absolutely avoid if you have a car of value, as they will pay you a pittance if it is w itten off! Reviewed on: 18th September 2016

Had a claim that wasnt my fault

I got treated as if it was my fault and didnt get the value of my car. I will be taking it further and to sum it up i asked them to ring me 12-2pm and they rang me at 11:00 while i was at work and then at 3pm Reviewed on: 15th September 2016

Cheap!

£75 Early cancellation fee!!!

Insurance was £360 for the year, I sold the car and was stung with a whopping £75 cancellation fee. Reviewed on: 5th September 2016
