This joke of a company don't even deserve an award of 1 star. I was given a quote for my car insurance renewal, which I decided to cancel as it was nearly 4 times the amount I was currently paying. I called Endsleigh to cancel the insurance and was told by 2 different staff members on the same phone call my insurance was definitely cancelled. Weeks later I received an email thanking me for renewing my insurance with them! I was horrified. I called them right away and was assured the policy had definitely been cancelled. Now a month down the line I have discovered to my utter DISGUST Endsleigh have been helping themselves to my bank account !!! I contacted them asking what is going on , I cancelled this policy over a month ago and was assured by 3 different people it was certainly cancelled. The phone call lasted 16 minutes. 14 minutes of that time I was on hold whilst the person taking my call went back and forth to her supervisor as she clearly didn't know her job. the outcome was they told me I had never cancelled the policy , there was no records of me ever phoning them . I told them I have the records on my phone ? I have been insured by another company since I cancelled the Endsleigh insurance , why would I insure my car with 2 different companies that does not make any sense whatsoever? The phone call was a waste of time. Nobody listened to me and they blatently lied to me on the phone. I would not advise anybody to go with this company as I fear 40 years from now I will still be fighting to cancel this policy . The staff are not trained in how to communicate clearly and effectively with their customers. They are Inexperienced and do not know what they are doing. 3 call handlers assured me this policy was cancelled and it was on their system. Yet they are unhealthily attached to me and refuse to let me go. Cheeky Charges

I was charged when I moved house, regardless of the amount changing, I was charged £15 for updating address. I don't think admin charges should be that much when all it takes is the click of a button. Apparently I had no choice in the charge! Reviewed on: 18th March 2016

Endsleigh car insurance is well worth it! Very cheap car insurance even considering that this was my first car even included 6 months free breakdown cover best student company around! Reviewed on: 12th November 2015

I found that with endsleigh, nothing was too much of a problem, there were no overheads for changing insurance information, and new quotes seem to be better than anything i can find on comparison websites! Very helpful people! I recently changed cars and there were no admin fees and very little change in my premium! Reviewed on: 6th November 2015

Cheap, Solid, Not Fast!

Endsleigh offered the cheapest policy for me by far this year, which is why I went with them. However, I did actually have to make a claim against my insurance for the first time ever, and while the initial claim was processed quickly and the call centres were UK based with good service, the actual process of the garage fixing my car took forever -- about 2 weeks. I don't know how far this is Endsleigh's fault since the garage were the ones being slow (once they had my car in there, mind!) but I kept seeing adverts at this time for DirectLine, saying how they'd pay £10 a day for every day the car was out of use and in the garage, and I did think...hmm. This is a bit annoying. On the plus side, they did give me a courtesy car included in the excess, and for an excess of £150 they quite happily replaced basically half my car. So I can't complain about the quality of the service or speed of claim processing, but they weren't anxious to hurry the process along with the garage. Reviewed on: 9th August 2015

Their service is slow, i was declared not a fault a few days after the accident but did not receive my excess back for months, their excuse was that the legal company had not been informed they were required to claim it back for me. Considering i am a student and the excess was £550 this was a big deal! Reviewed on: 27th April 2015

TOP NOTCH SERVICE WITH CHEAP PREMIUMS

I decided to renew my car insurance with endsleigh after searching the usual meerkats and the robot one whilst i did get a cheaper quote from a rival insurer Endsleigh matched the premium without any hesitation. I however did have to submit a claim when i had a bump with a third party. Endsliegh dealt with the claim with efficiency and speed and kept me informed as to the status of the claim. The policy was with RSA. If they beat/match my price again at renewal i wont hesistate to stick with them Reviewed on: 24th April 2015

Very good value.

Excellent service and very good value comprehensive car insurance cover. A lot of extras were included in the policy for no extra cost. Seems to be cheaper than over insurers, especially for young drivers. Reviewed on: 26th March 2015
