Ford Money Fixed Cash ISAs can be for set periods of one, two or three years and opened online with a minimum of £500. The Ford Money Flexible Cash ISA has a variable rate and can be opened with just £1.

Happy to save with Ford Money

I have two cash isas with Ford Money - one fixed rate, the other variable rate. I find their interest rates to be competitive, and have noticed that they don't rush to lower rates when BOE reduce theirs. Easy to use app which contains all the relevant information. Prior to opening my first account I contacted Ford Money customer services via telephone call, and my call was answered and my queries dealt with efficiently and pleasantly. To summarise, I'm very happy with my Ford Money accounts and wouldn't hesitate to open further account in the future. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2026

Repayment of ISA after Death

I recently lost my husband and unfortunately he had an ISA worth £20,000 with Ford Money, who refuse to refund it to me unless I can provide Grant of Probate. I have not had to do GOP because we had mirror wills and everything has automatically come to myself. This policy is the only one outstanding and Ford Money refuse to help me. I have seen a solicitor and they have quoted me £4,000 to £8,000 for GOP. My life has been so stressful dealing with all the necessary paperwork and now I have the added stress from Ford Money. You would think that they could show me some empathy and help me to close my husbands estate. It will cost me half of my husbands ISA to get GOP for this one policy surely there is another way especially as this was purchased with our money which we hoped to enjoy in our retirement together.
