To whom it may concern, I have just been speaking to one of your employee's over the phone regarding a claim for an incident which occurred on the 01.08.16, The gentlemen whom I spoke to gave me the name of Akeem which may be a fake name, is a useless member of staff who is probably sitting on his arse not knowing what he is doing at all. He may be new or something but he is the rudest person ive ever spoken to and im an estate agent who knows well, customer service is key! This is the 1st complaint I have ever made in my life and may it be the last but I cant sit here and think that this 'Akeem' is going to be speaking to other customers in the same way. So, I called for an update which I have been doing for the past 2weeks. He asked if I was the owner of the vehicle. I said no but I was the driver of the incident and I have been it touch several times, could you just put me through to claims please. he said he cannot out me through because im not the main driver????? he then said he couldn't give out any information without speaking to the main driver first??? Once I realised he didn't know very well what he was talking about, I explained I had been in touch several times and if he could put me through to claims or another colleague. he refused and refused. I asked to speak to a manager which he said I could and If I wanted to leave a complaint to leave it on here? This employee is a joke. I demanded he gave me the managers name and after a while he gave me a name: April. That's all he said. no Miss, no Mr nothing. just goes to show his level of professionalism. I asked to speak to Miss April which he said straight away, she isn't available can you hold the line. So he asked me to hold the line before asking the manager if they can take a call and then I don't understand why he wanted to put me on hold? Was he going to keep me on hold? I don't know if he was giving me fake names but I hanged up and called again and was finally put through to a more professional member of staff called: Jay Martin in claims. This gentlemen was top notch, he knew what he needed to ask, wasn't stupid & gave me all the information which I requested and even offered more help! This AKEEM dude should become his apprentice. Only after 3mins of Jay's time, I got more information than I needed and I was put through to the correct person Arron, who was dealing with my case. Both Arron and Jay are suburb and in no way was they as rude. I still havnt got to the point as to why AKEEM was being the way he was. Woke up on the wrong side of the bed? Or mummy didn't make him lunch? Anyway, Im sure you record your calls? As I keep hearing it when im on hold.. So this goes to the manager who I suppose is a women: Miss April, can you please sort out this 'human' and fire his arse because if I ever call and he answers the phone, I will be taking further action. There is no way I pay for insurance and get spoken to the way I did. Call was made on the 15.08.16 at 12:15pm and this situation lasted 11mins. I advise you hear the call and take further action. To be very honest, no wonder why there is so many bad reviews about GoGirl. He left me no choice so here is another. Sort it out, your staff are loosing you customers and to be very honest, if the manger knew what she was doing, she would have a employed a scum Reviewed on: 15th August 2016

Impossible to Contact

I've spent ages on the phone trying to speak to someone from Go Girl about my car insurance, but they don't answer the phone. Being able to speak to someone quickly and easily is the most basic requirement of an insurance company, and Go Girl fail completely. I won't be renewing my car insurance with them, as clearly they don't value or care for their customers. Reviewed on: 18th May 2023

7 days and still no response

I have been ringing and emailing as I am changing my car and cannot get through to anyone. Customer service is none exsistant god help you if you need to ring to make a claim AVOID AT ALL COSTS Reviewed on: 16th May 2023

Awful customer service

Trying to contact them as my son has passed his test and needs to drive so we need to amend the insurance we have with Go Girl. I have phoned over the previous 3 days, on hold over 5 hours! No reply! Reviewed on: 29th April 2023

Poorest customer service ever

I contacted this company to upgrade insurance having passed test. It was urgent that I could drive . On the first day I held on for 2 hours with no response and no notification of where I was in the queue. I repeated this on subsequent days. I emailed the company to get a reply that they would in touch within 72 hours. I eventually got the phone answered only to be told staff were on a break and to call back!!! I tried again but gave up and bought insurance from a company who were professional answered phones and even called me. Yesterday I phoned first thing at 8am and got to speak to someone and cancelled the insurance with gogirl. This is without doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with and I will tell everyone I know about my experience. Their response to the many complaints made is poor as well asking for people to be in touch with their policy details to which they won’t respond. I would give no stars if I could. Just awful

New car insurance policy - within 7 days I received a text and an email saying that my policy would be cancelled in 7 days. No explanation. Tried calling and, as with other customers, nobody answered the phone after being on hold for almost an hour. I tried to call the parent company, Sabre, with the same result. I have emailed so we'll see what happens. This company definitely takes the prize for being the worst I've ever dealt with! Reviewed on: 6th April 2023

Worse experience ever with an insurance company

What an absolute joke your company is. You do realise you have to deal with customers as an insurance company ? Was waiting on the phone for an hour before someone answered to be told you were too busy to take my call so you would call me back this afternoon. I said I really need to sort my insurance out as a matter of urgency so are you definitely going to call back to which you replied yes !! Have a guess what didn't happen. That's right no call. Never have I dealt with such bad service and I've been a virgin media customer.  Sorry to say I definitely won't be renewing my cover and if I get no joy tomorrow I'll be contacting the ombudsman as your not fit to run an insurance company  Reviewed on: 5th April 2023

50-60 years of potential custom lost over £52 admin fee.

It’s a shame I could not get an answer or help via the phone for hours to update my details or am unable to amend my current docs online. I was sat waiting to be connected to a representative for ages as I need to make a change to my policy. It was taken out only Monday night (2nd Jan). My daughter (new driver) has roughly 50-60 years of driving ahead of her and will require an insurer to cover her for this. For the sake of £52.00 admin fee to amend a document you lost this customer! 50 odd years of insurance cover is rather a lot of money to lose over a quick £52 gain. Your customer service has been somewhat dire! Happily paid the £48.00 fee to cancel. The driver and I WILL be informing all her 17–18-year-old friends who are currently in the process of getting licences and everyone else we feel needs to know about your ridiculous fees.
