Absolute shower

I've been an HSBC customer for absolutely years but their customer service recently is appalling even as a premier customer it takes you an hour to get through to speak to somebody who then reads a script and literally can't help. hopefully this review will elicit some sort of response that I can actually speak to somebody who knows what they're doing. do not get an acct with HSBC

just an awful experience every time i have had to use them. on hold atm, 57 minutes and still no one. none of their products are remotely competitive...why did i ever get an account with them?? since switch my main acct across to a mobile bak is has been infinitely better Reviewed on: 5th November 2022

Do not bank with HSBC, they dont listen and just mess around with your account when they want.

HSBC have completely screwed me over and messed up everything for me. I spoke with someone on 21st oct about suspected fraud on my account and they decided to do an indemnity claim against my mobile provider at the same time! without me knowing this and without my permission. so yesterday my phone got blocked and the only way to unblock it is to pay a huge bill which a cannot afford and never received the refund in the first place. In the morning they confirmed to me that they have cancelled the claim and fixed my direct debits. TODAY i notice an email from my mobile company claiming my direct debits got cancelled yesterday evening. so all in all HSBC just decide to do whatever they want and go against your wishes and screw you over. now i have no mobile until the complaint is resolved. I am a carer and have no way of contacting my employer or him contacting me in case of an emergency. this is unacceptable behavior and extremely stressful. as soon as this is resolved i will be leaving HSBC because they clearly so not deserve my custom! Avoid at all costs

Constantly passed from department to department. No customer service. Empty branches. Close your accounts with HSBC as soon as you get the chance. Reviewed on: 25th October 2022

Just terrible

Don't join this bank!!! Don't join this bank!!! After waiting 45 mins on hold I reported a fraudulent transaction on my account to the HSBC fraud line. The rudeness with which I was treated with was quite simply unbelievable, I spent 40 mins on the phone to HSBC simply begging them to cancel my card and stop this payment to jd sport on line. I was told they could not stop it and IF after an investigation they found it to be a fake transaction I would then receive my money back. I appreciate that they are probaby busy and I also understand they have procedures to follow, but treating your customers with contempt and hostility is wrong. I did receive my money back within a week and now i am in the process of changing banks. Reviewed on: 26th September 2022

They will steal your money and roll the funds to help themselves and drag your payment till the last moment so they can clear their things..don't trust them they are trained liars even their help assistance is fake..most of the employees don't know anything and have 0 respect for its customers ,they keep changing their words on every call..worst worst worst bank ever,they claim to have many policies but can't state atleast 1 in which they can hold a international transfer..online banking such as revolut,monz9 is way better and prompt than these theifs Reviewed on: 22nd September 2022
