No payment received.

Took in an some gold and totalled up nearly 1000 pound, they said they'd bank transfer and it would go straight in to the account, by the time I'd got home and checked we had recieved no payment, phoned them up and they said they'd been having an issue with Lloyd's Bank customers, so we waited til the day after and still no payment, contacted Lloyd's bank and they've said everything is fine and nothing should of stopped it going through.. it's been 3 days now, still not recieved any payment. 9ct gold earrings

Only weigh 2.1 grams bought for me as a present from my hubby from westerhailes shopping centre. They sold them for 105.00 but only 40 pound worth of 9ct gold. So tripleing there money on a deprived area and people. So how can this be justified as ok Manger wouldn't even help He stated that he pays 30 pound per gram. Yeah if there18ct. Total rip off don't go or if you do check the gold price. My earrings are only worth 40 pound. I am contacting trading standards and I know I won't get a refund but at least I can put my head on the pillow and sleep. Total scammer Reviewed on: 1st January 2023

Brilliant service and wonderful staff!

My nearest H & T branch is in Greenock, and every member of staff there consistently provides stellar customer service. They are always extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and sensitive to each customer’s individual requirements. If, as in my instance, a customer is taking out a pawnbroking loan, the staff will take every measure to inform the customer of their repayment options, and of how to pay less total interest by following a repayment schedule tailored to the customer’s individual circumstances. The staff’s laudable personal qualities and professional, comprehensive approach to their work are especially important in a business such as pawnbroking, and proved to be even more so during the recent pandemic, when their concise and reassuring communication with pawnbroking borrowers such as myself was outstanding and greatly appreciated. In conclusion, I highly recommend H & T if you are contemplating taking out a pawnbroking loan, and I particularly recommend Chad and Janice, and their Manager Tina, who all work at the Greenock branch.
