Holding People’s Money Hostage

After my account was closed on 12th November which I believe was a form of revenge after I said on here that I will be going to the press about my experience, guess what there are still withholding my money, the crooks, even though they have the information of the bank account of where they need to send my money to. All of them there are a bunch of liars, saying that they will callback me and they never did and also having departments that do not take calls. I will be emailing the CEO and will be taking my story to every news outlet I can like some many other people in the group that I am on Facebook “KROO BANK ACCOUNT PROBLEMS” which has 36 people in counting. Everyone, listen to me, take your money and run otherwise you will be in the same position as me and so many other people. Reviewed on: 23rd November 2024

Do not use this bank, I repeat do not use this bank. Aside from the poor non existent customer service and complaints team. They will suspend your account for no reason, request bank information from your other bank (one of my other banks which I provided them has been suspiciously blocked and I have no access), the team who does review are not customer facing, I have had no access to my money since 1st Aug. I’m not allowed to close my account whilst this review is ongoing, so essentially they are holding my money hostage. I’m not only one that they have done this to, check out their TrustPilot for more experiences like mine and also check out this employee review as it seems like they are not following the correct guidelines and wonder if the FOS, FCA and other regulatory bodies are aware of it https://www.glassdoor.co.uk/Reviews/Employee-Review-Kroo-United-Kingdom-RVW80841314.htm. Scam bank

My phone was stolen and there was a fraud attempt on my account on 02/06/2024. Kroo restricted my account. I also phone and told them to block the account the same day. Good, great, happy with that! Once I got a new phone and sim I asked for this restriction to be lifted 05/06/2024. They said I had to wait until the fraud investigation is finished can take up to 8 weeks. So £32k locked up for 8 weeks. Every other bank confirms your identity and unrestricts when requested, but whatever, fine. No replies to any communication since then, you asked for an update you get a copy & paste reply saying relevant team looking into it. No information because you cannot talk to someone who knows what is going on. 8 weeks go by and nothing. No updates, no responses and only generic replies when requesting for an update. I put in a formal complaint (my fault should have done this when they didn't provide updates when requested). They come back and say they have another 8 weeks to handle the complaint. I ask for an update and get a generic reply, saying they have until 13 September to respond. Cannot get any information from the company. My complaint reference is 686375. My account is still restricted. Please can someone look into this and let me know what I need to do to get the account unrestricted or if it's going to take until 13 September a valid reason as to why? Not just a response saying someone the relevant team is looking into it. £32k locked up since 02/06/2024. Over 2 months later and nothing has been done. No updates, only generic replies.
