I’ve been trying to open a new account on the maturity of another. Sent my bank details in . Getting nowhere. Spoke to rather sulky girl on phone and did what she said but still no progress. Why am I bothering Reviewed on: 14th January 2025

Always excellent service and information given when...

Always excellent service and information given when required. Being a member for many, many years and always been there with sound savings on offer as well as other products. I also had a mortgage and they were excellent when my father died and we had to sort out all the savings accounts. Reviewed on: 31st January 2025

Great Customer Service

In a world where good customer service seems increasingly rare, Leek Building Society restores my faith in human beings. My local bank branch has closed down, it seems everyone is being forced to go online to manage their finances, and so it is wonderful to engage with a financial organisation face to face. There is always a warm welcome, the service is knowledgeable, efficient and mindful and when I was sorting out an ISA transfer, there was even a cup of tea on offer!
