Review of the Lloyds Bank, Mortgage:

NO CARE FOR LOYALTY NO HELP

I have been with Lloyds Bank for 18 yrs with a mortgage. Never once missed a payment. This month February 2023 I asked for a payment holiday. We were told we had until 28th February to make our payment. We usually pay on the 1st. Because we had not paid in the first our mortgage holiday was refused. We told them this would make us struggle financially as we had something we needed to organise which would have us back in track. They refused. It seems 18 yes of paying without any missed payments is neither here nor there. This company will not help even the customers who have been good on their account! Very disappointing! UPDATE So we where told 23rd February that if we paid this months mortgage then we could gave a holiday. Then today 27th February I received a call saying we couldn't. That they apologise for getting our hopes up. That they sympathise with this and that and just verbal company non-sense. No help at all. They can't help due to the fact decent afford the mortgage!!! We haven't missed a payment in 18 years and just needed to get our new work contracts in order as the other person who had the other half of the mortgage abruptly stopped without warning us! DO NOT GET A MORTHAGE WITH THIS COMPANY..THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR LOYALTY OR GIVE ANY SUPPORT. Unless you want to rack a bill up with a 0% interest rating that will kill your credit rating. Struggling, but help was at Hand

I urgently needed to remortgage, I had an interest only loan, but had to use my investment plan, which was there to settle the capital, to pay for urgent structural repairs to the house. In addition the mounting building costs hammered my credit cards. The Lloyds advisor was great, we went through everything, put an affordable package together and got my finances back on an even keel, so much so that I have even been able to retire 6 years early! Best bank ever!

We are first time buyers, and the banker who dealt with our mortgage was super friendly and made us feel at ease! She was really helpful and a lovely bubbly person to talk too! Lloyds bank on a whole is fantastic, not only did we get six free cinema tickets for joining them, we also got a lovely hamper sent to our home for taking out a mortgage with themselves! Great advice

Great product, easy terms but a pain to deal with

Wanted to stay with my same provider when I moved house and got excellent terms and was very happy with the products but the whole process seemed to take an eternity to get from discussions to having a formal offer letter which almost cost me the deal as I was the last one to be ready. Simple Easy

Lloyds bank were absolutely fantastic when it came to sorting our mortgage. They were polite and well mannered on the phone and more than happy to help. Great Mortgage Interest Rates but Room for Improvement in Client Care

I have been with Lloyds Mortgage for 7 years, and their mortgage deal is very competitive. However, I have had several issues with asking for things to be changed and unfortunately they failed to successfully implement the instruction correctly on several occasions.
