Great Building Society

First visit to this branch to open an account and was very impressed. I was served by Charlie who was really welcoming, very efficient and had great product knowledge. Highly recommend this building society and branch to others. Reviewed on: 14th April 2025

Competitive rates but archaic application process

Opening a new savings account as a new customer felt like a return to the 1980s. Application was via post including a cheque. I received account details via post, but had to phone to request an online sign-in password. Line was busy, so they called me back several hours later. Customer support staff member was nice and helpful, but the whole process was dated and inconvenient in a modern digital world. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2025

Very easy processes that make you feel safe as a saver, and ensure you understand the product that you are investing in easily. Lots of plan speak removing potential problems before they start. Reviewed on: 26th March 2025

I would prefer that the money is invested for a full year. Also, the cheque I sent to open the account was rejected and I was charged �15 for this!. Reviewed on: 1st January 2025
