As someone who has been using metro bank for only a few years, I have been quite pleased with my experience. Under them I have opened a young savers account, as well as an adult over 18 account, and since then there have been no issues with my account or setting it up. Any issues that i may have had with my card, where money was taken has been instantly resolved, with a quick phone call or in store visit. The rewards on their young savers account are also particularly handy, and provide a strong incentive to save. Overall the customer service and the company itself are very good and trustworthy. Only problems I may have, is the changing in their opening times, which could make it slightly inconveniencing in some cases, but I am yet to have a truly bad experience with Metro Bank Reviewed on: 25th May 2024

The young saver account is brilliant.

The young saver account is brilliant. No physical card and not able to transfer online means you really will save, if you ever need to withdraw you can instantly by going into the branch but that barrier of having to go in branch makes it that much more likely to save your money instead. The interest is decent, I haven’t compared much but I’m happy to stay metro bank for my savings. No regrets at all Reviewed on: 6th March 2024

so easy

the online banking of this bank is so easy to use, and it’s great for my savers account. the interest is good for a young savers account and i’ve managed to save so much money with metro. i can also easily track and payments i may have borrowed from my savers and pay it back ! defo recommend Reviewed on: 22nd August 2023

It's pretty good

It's A Win, Win Situation

The 5 for 5 account is the best account for children in my opinion. It encourages children to save regularly with the incentive of being able to get a prize monthly for guessing the amount of coins they have saved as well as receiving £5 for making 5 payments into the account for 5 consecutive months and they also get interest. Quick, easy and reliable

I have been with metro now for over 2 years and have never had any issues it is easy to use and I now use it as my main bank if you are thinking of switching to metro bank I highly suggest you do. Reviewed on: 6th April 2023
