Smart wheels is a money generator

More than insurance is a total scam! My student daughter is in tears with this company they are a disgrace, this smart wheels policy they offer is a cash generator, £180 for 500 extra miles, 108 miles into this 500 extr they sent her a notice of cancellation, only two month of her policy to go, a phone call later and they now want £290 extra for 1000 more miles!!!!!!! Apparently the 500 she purchased is now not acceptable to them?!? So unless she she agrees to an additional 1000 they are cancelling the policy! You gits! They kept her on the phone telling her if she hung up the quote would increase, she put Lewis on hold and phoned me in tears, they would not allow us to pay the extra in a lump sum to save her the stress, the payment had to come from her account? She is a student ffs and struggling as it is you slimy money makers, they refused to send her the updated quote saying it was against company rules to share that information? Go on tell me why? How can a company refuse to send a quote or invoice for a policy extra? Where is the money going. It sounds to me that the team at moron sorry more than are on commission for extras, it all seems to double glazing salesman to me, why does she have to pay now? Window salesman tactic, why will the price go up if she does not pay now? Window salesman tactic, why can your team not send a revised invoice/ quote? Conning salesman avoiding VAT tactic, why only accept debit card payments? Window salesman tactics or someone fearful of a chargeback! Cash is king now how about a new front door? Morons sorry more than is scamming inexperienced youngsters! Avoid at all costs do not be fooled it is not worth the stress. Note to more than we will join any joint court action against you now you have caused my daughter and us so much stress and money, in my opinion you have tricked us and Mis sold her this policy after her inputting her information. At the start she told them her family home is in one city but was a student at a university in another, so she was living away from home of course, they understood that and continued with the quote, months later they contacted her saying her policy was incorrect and the vehicle was not being kept at the family home, they were aware of that! But penalised her for that fact after being made aware and the correct section of the quote being filled in saying all that. She is studying aviation and also told them she would be driving at odd hours including early AM they were ok with that at the time of the quote but not after! They shafted her score what ever that is saying she was driving at unreasonable hours and penalised her score? They were aware to start with! You tell me how driving very early in the morning is more risky than at peak times? They also said repeatedly at the time of selling the policy that she would need a black box they repeatedly told her it would only need to be on for six months! You lying gits! I demand you stop telling people that because that is a lie! That is not correct and your team are telling people that but when it comes to it they are learning the hard way. I do not like the way you also cancel policies so easily! You are ruining young people's lives acting in that way! You not only damage the credit history and policy that shows as being cancelled effects future quotes! So if this is a way of increasing prices year on year then I hope some government body screws you over good and proper you damn well deserve it. Stop acting like crooks be honest and open! Yes money is all you are after I understand that but go about it the correct way! Me and my family will now not use more than or any company associated with it ever again! DISGRACEFUL APPALLING USELESS

If it were possible to give a 0 or minus review I certainly would. The "service", such as it is from this shyster business is appalling. The "low mileage" devices they send out are nothing short of Micky Mouse rubbish, we've had three now and provided all the information in a timely polite manner, it's a pity their responses are not the same. They continually send a barrage of emails and texts threatening to cancel the policy unless the device is fitted and working yet the issue is most definitely with their trashy and faulty equipment. We even have the photos showing the device installed, emails and dates to confirm this. My advice, DO NOT use More Than because it's More trouble Than they're worth. Appalling attitudes and disgraceful service. We'll definitely not be using them in the future and we'll be complaining to the relevant ombudsman. Reviewed on: 21st March 2023

car insurance address change

i purchased more thsn car insurance and when i was moving house they wanted £420 on top of what i was already paying for my insurance which was £486 just to change my address. im very upset by this and can not afford it. i dont work due to a disability. i attempted to cancel my insurance and they wanted £300 for cancelling. im completely stuck. this insurance it the worst there is. admiral only charge £26 for cancelling. more than is terrible and have ruined my life Reviewed on: 17th March 2023

THIEVES

Please please do NOT ever use this insurance company and certainly never ever pay them up front! I paid them £3000 for my sons black box insurance, he had a v minor accident where he was at fault 4 months into the insurance. They cancelled his insurance and will not refund a penny of the £3000 I paid!!! Unbelievable. I will take this to the end! Reviewed on: 20th February 2023

Took my deposit and charged me extra after the insurance

I insured with these guys as my first insurer I paid the deposit upfront and paid my monthly payments. I was never late and never missed any. Due to financial issues I sold the car and cancelled my policy I didn’t expect the full deposit but I expected some of it considering I only had the insurance for 3 months. After disputing with them I let it go and took the £170 out of £1300. So after all this I then received a email to say I owe them another fee of £60 for using there cover and if it’s not paid within 2 weeks it’ll be sent on to debt collectors! They gave me a black box which was the worst thing ever the faces are sad if your out to early and home when it’s dark I honestly would not recommend this Insurance to anyone Reviewed on: 25th January 2023

Dangerous cover

Made 1 claim after years of cover and ‘ more than’ cancelled my cover after paying out without informing me! Leaving me without cover for nearly 6 months when I was due the renew! If something would have happened I wouldn’t have been covered!!! So dangerous Reviewed on: 19th January 2023

Please please do not get insurance with More Than Low Miler

Please learn from most people on this forum and DO NOT BUY INSURANCE from More Than car insurance. I have tried calling them for 3 days and when I finally got through just now they told me I have to call back in the morning at 8:00. What’s the point of waiting for 45 minutes to be told they can’t help anyone!! This company is all bout the money and don’t give any considerations to the customer. The car is broken down at a workshop and I can’t get through to my insurance company. This company is a joke so Please DO NOT buy an insurance policy from this company!!!
