Avoid like the plague! Once they have your money they just walk away from any claim, i.e. they outsource this crucial part of their business... Avoid like the plague! Once they have your money they just walk away from any claim, i.e. they outsource this crucial part of their business to a third party called BVS. BVS is meant to validate a claim but instead off addressing the claim they are only interested in under cutting the claim. Also the reviews on this company are horrendous. I will be reporting both companies to the insurance ombudsman as well as writing to Which the consumer champion. If you find yourself having to make a claim ensure you get everything in writing or else you will find yourself in the situation he said she said. Read more Read less

    Steer clear of these rip off merchants

    My dog went in for an operation we were quoted £1100 for the operation to remove the lump and have the lump tested for cancer,... My dog went in for an operation we were quoted £1100 for the operation to remove the lump and have the lump tested for cancer, we paid the 20% excess and then more than split this operation into 2 operations so that they could charge us 2 excess payments which came to 500 quid even though he only had one op. I will not renew with them again and If you don’t want to be ripped off I suggest you steer clear of these rip off merchants. Read more Read less

    THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER!

    I was with more than pet insurance for 14 years for my cat, and I got another kitten and added her to the policy. I... I was with more than pet insurance for 14 years for my cat, and I got another kitten and added her to the policy. I only ever claimed once in 14 years for a kidney scan a few years ago, which was a slight hassle. However, I have to rate this company as low as possible due to the fact they would not cover my kitten for a dental problem as they claim due to the breeders negligence I am not covered. It was not just this, they passed me over to the fraud team in which I was heavily questioned and made out that I put my kitten on the policy to make such a claim! Even though I had already paid for 14 years for my other cat!! I was very disappointed with this outcome and the way they made me feel, as I had been ripped off by a breeder and got accused of fraud for it… disgusting service , would never recommend to anyone , rather, I would warn people not to use this pet insurance as it would appear they will do anything to get out of paying anything! Waste of money, I calculated the amount I spent in 14 years and it more than covered the bill I needed covered for my poor kitten with genetic mutations, so this was disgusting to be accused of fraud! Very disappointing, I wish I could get my money back for all those years I paid 64 per month!! (More than my own life insurance) I see the logic in the name “more than” as you pay more than you ever will get back for your poorly animal! Read more Read less

    Awful customer service

    We bought a pet insurance for a friend who adopted our cat. We asked to post the policy details to the friend who is in... We bought a pet insurance for a friend who adopted our cat. We asked to post the policy details to the friend who is in her 80s. We chased for weeks and despite confirming the address and name of the policy holder they “refused to post the papers for privacy reasons”. Never dealt with a team with such a lack of understanding what privacy means. We never asked to disclose any personal information and only asked to send some papers to the policy holder whose address and name was on the policy. Only when we made a formal complaint the poorly trained employees finally agreed to post the necessary documents to the policy holder. Read more Read less

Then an email saying I was running out of miles. I replied that I wasn't. They replied that indeed I wasn't. No apology. Then an email saying I had run out of miles. I replied that I hadn't. They replied O yeah, you haven't. You still have **** miles left. Again, no apology. Absolutely the worst outfit I've ever come across. No wonder they're going out of business. Read more Read less

    Completely pointless and causes more stress and delays

    It's been 4 days since we reported a leak and we've still had no help whatsoever. They sent round one person who was a gas... It's been 4 days since we reported a leak and we've still had no help whatsoever. They sent round one person who was a gas engineer not a plumber so had no idea what he was looking at and left without doing anything. We've now been told there's nothing more they can do (they've done nothing) and we're not covered as it's a hot water tank leak and they don't cover them. The wording of the policy is 'We will cover up to £1,000 for our approved tradesperson to resolve emergency situations in your home. This includes: Loss of your home’s main heating and/or hot water due to failure or breakdown.' Nothing in there about hot water tanks. This has caused so much stress, I've spent hours on hold (always at our cost) or talking to different people but no one has actually come round to stop the leak or provide any advice other than essentially 'get your own plumber and pay for it yourself'. Oh and it's STILL LEAKING 4 days after we reported it! Water pouring down the wall and the joists under the tank soaking wet. 4 days of calls and waiting and now we're back at square one.     Want your car claim settled for half the value without your consent? No problem. Want to be told you have 9 years no claims one... Want your car claim settled for half the value without your consent? No problem. Want to be told you have 9 years no claims one day, then 3 years the next day? Not an issue. Want to spent hours on hold, only to speak to someone who’s more interested in their holiday than your stolen car? Go to More Than!
