Disgustingly dodgy! Money grabbers!

I passed my test in Feb 16, got my car March 16, rung up more than, put a deposit of £500 down thinking this would benefit me in the future. DO NOT GET THE BOX FITTED ITS A CON! I have this stupid box and everytime I go only 2mph faster I get a warning letter saying they will cancel my insurance. My Miles run out, I called them asking to buy more miles. I pay £1540 for the year which only got me my 3000miles (crap). So Iv asked to buy another 4000 to last me to March 17. They told me instead of £103 a month, it would be £463 a month!!!! This is absolutely ridiculous. Why car insurance do you know that would Charge you this amount? So now I am unable to drive my car as the prices are outregous. They will wheel you in with a cheap quote, then 6 months down the line F*** you over! DO NOT GO WITH MORE THAN UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CONNED OUT OF ALL YOUR EARNINGS! Reviewed on: 4th September 2016

DO NOT USE! I tried to phone them after an accident & was kept waiting by their claims department for days! They said they offer a call-back service but this isn't convenient when you are at work & have to shout at the top of your voice because they claim it is a bad line.I telephoned them with all the information that they required. They phoned a day later to ask for the information I had just provided. They claimed no notes had been made on my file. To cut a long story short, I paid my annual insurance up front (over £300), I had my insurance cancelled & no refund offered. This meant I paid a whole year's insurance for 1 month of driving. This has been a totally stressful experience that I have never experienced with any other company in 30 years. They are still calling me claiming there are no notes on my file despite the fact that I have talked to them over 10 times on the phone. DO NOT USE!!!! Reviewed on: 1st September 2016

Policy was cancelled within an hour from entering details online. spoke to an advisor who assured me that I would receive a FULL refund. this didnt happen £25 was deducted for whatever reason. Reviewed on: 31st August 2016

It was straight forward to insure my car with MORE THAN and I received my quote through a price comparison website. As a new driver I hadn't got insurance before but I was shocked how simple it was to do. My only problem with this company is I would like a bit more communication from them, maybe the odd email every now and again. Sometimes I forgot who I am with due to no contact from them, I reckon the last email I had from them was when I first insured my car over 7 months ago. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2016

The worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. 1. They made a mistake on setting up the policy and ignored my e-mails, trying to correct it. 2. Having taken out a policy, I went on holiday, and came home to find a letter requiring me to send a copy of my driving licence and another one saying the policy was cancelled 72 hours before because I had not done so. I immediately called their "Customer Service" and offered to send immediately and was told the policy was cancelled and they refused to reinstate it. 3. I was promised call back from their Complaints Department - no call back. I am a doctor, and if I treated my patients like this I would be struck off. Run a mile from this truly awful company. CONNED OUT OF ALMOST £1K

I had the box fitted for only a month. I was a new nervous driver, I am very aware of my speed when driving and never go over the speed limit, plus it was only my second time on the motorway so I was exra cautious. I was sent an email saying according to the box I had been driving at 100mph on the motorway!! I have never even gone above 50 mph, if I was going that fast I would definitely have realised, plus the time and location it states I went at that speed is impossible due to other traffic. When I told them that it was a mistake they 'checked' the box virtually and said that apparently it was correct. No one came to look at or remove the box in person. It was my word against a machines and they were so adamant that it was not possible there was a glitch in the box. THIS IS A CON TO STEAL YOUR MONEY!! THEY TOOK MY WHOLE DEPOSIT WITH NO REFUND. I have since used Bell car insurance and had gold standard driving scores plus been giving money back for good driving. Reviewed on: 10th July 2016

I bought a new car and kept the old one until it was sold. The insurer said this was OK, with a small monthly increase. Later they denied it and whacked the price up! Reviewed on: 18th March 2016

More Than tried to charge double for the same cover I got off their site. I had to apply as a new customer after being with them for more than 30 years and over the past 3 years had to apply as a new customer In 2015 I was quoted the same as online for the first time I dread to think what I have been overcharged before looking into switching using a comparison site. Brilliant and quick service

I am currently on the Smart Wheels More Than car insurance scheme. I recently changed my car and needed to transfer my insurance to my new car in order to pick it up. It was very late on Sunday already, close to their business closing time and were experiencing high call volume. However, understanding my position, they quickly helped me out so that I will be insured when I pick my car from the dealer! Well done More Than on the brilliant service!
