More than car insurance

They are complete thieves. I am I first time driver who has no choice but to have the black box fitted. They lied and told me the engineer came but there was a no show. 1 week after I received an email to say they were going to cancel my insurance. I do not recommend this company the advisors are extremely patronising and the company it's self are white collard criminals!! They should be shut down! Reviewed on: 22nd October 2016

I'm 17 and the quote I got was 2000£ (with black box). Which is good in comparison to the rest. Took it out 719£ deposit been paying 130£ a month for the last 4monrhs (since June when passed) and they have told me they are cancelling the insurance due to speeding. After giving them just over 1100£ they have said I wont be receiving any refunds due to all cancellation fees. Absolute scum not worth the risk just robbed me, 17 year old boy, for like 1100£ and now looking at quotes they are 3000£ + due to having insurance cancelled previous etc. I also cant get insurance for a monthly plan and I can't afford 3000£ outright. Am so angry but you live and learn!! Don't use them, mugs! And I hope they read this!!! Reviewed on: 21st October 2016

Ridiculous Car Insurance at a Ridiculous Price

As if paying three thousand pounds for car insurance wasn't enough, they've now threatened to cancel my insurance twice. When my telematics box was meant to be fitted, the bloke from RS connect looked at my car and said that it had been lowered on the front *only*. I tried to explain to him that the car was previously lowered but returned to normal when I took ownership of it, and that it would be lower on the front due to the 1.6 diesel lump in it. No matter how much I tried to explain it to him, he decided that I was the type of person to lower a car on one end only. After this, he started my car, revved it to hell and gone *while it was cold*, and then continued to tell me that my box can't be installed. When I asked him if he could check the springs for me, he turned around and said "to be honest, mate, I couldn't tell you the difference". Now correct me if I'm wrong, but surely an 'expert' on cars (which is what they told me over the phone) should know the difference between stock springs and lowered springs and/or coilovers. When he went away, he told me that he would be sending pictures to my insurance company for them to make the decision on whether to install the box or not. So two weeks later after not hearing anything back, today comes around and I get an email stating that they're going to cancel my insurance within seven days; when I phoned them up and asked them why this was, they hadn't even looked at the notes and pictures the telematics bloke left on my account and because the box hasn't been fitted, the insurance is getting cancelled on Friday no matter what. The only way I can keep my extortionate insurance is to get the manufacturer of my car to check the car over and say that the springs are stock. After rushing down to the dealership and asking them to book me in, I was told that the earliest they could book me in was November; but my insurance would be cancelled by then so there would be no point. After begging them to get me in as soon as possible (I can only do weekends as I work away from home), they managed to very tightly squeeze me into a spot tomorrow morning. TLDR; More Than insurance is a joke, I'm having to shell out more money for my car to be checked just so I can have their pathetic little box on my car monitoring everything I do. Typical car insurance

Set up car insurance for partner as main driver and myself on provisional, process done very quickly, but they refused to give us a date the car insurance would be due out, so, we've had to leave enough money in the account for 3 weeks just INCASE they try take it. They don't realise people have other things to pay and that's it doesn't always revolve around these monkeys. I refused to pay because they couldn't do a simple thing and set up a date. Less Than impressed

Following a crash a month after passing my test back when I was 17 , More Than decided that it wasn't worth telling me about a claim made against me, and about how much they paid out without even contacting me for my side of events. I only found out about it a few years later when working for another insurance company and searching for myself on the Motor Insurance Database. It's all well and good, until you realise that my policies in between would have been void if I had to claim again! Less Than brilliant in my eyes! Reviewed on: 13th October 2016

Caught in a Scam this is law breaking!

Just been told my insurance may be cancelled and because I paid in full More Than are going to keep over £600 of my money. The more I research this Royal & Sun Alliance company the more I unveil about customers being fleeced of their hard earned cash. Who decides you have your policy terminated without the black box being calibrated properly? This is after 4 months into the policy there should be laws against this discriminate stealing of the public's money. We need to make as many people aware of this scam as possible. Disgrace

Don't use! Cancelled my policy after 1 day for apparently speeding! Also lost my £1000 deposit! Absolute disgrace and con. Luckily they don't share your black box policy cancellation with other insurers for legal reasons so had no trouble getting insured straight after with a new company which are now rewarding me for good driving! Con artist

Ha a online quote, and when I tried to submit my first payment it stated there was an error, I checked my details about 5 times and everything was correct, I had no other choice but to phone them, I thought here we go this is going to be a con here, and yes I was correct they online quote was cheaper and they added another £80 when I phoned them.
