I like this building society's ethics. Customers service is always very friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the 5% cashback on spending in February, March and April. Mobile app needs updating

I switched to Nationwide last year and whilst I haven't had any problems with them, I think they could improve their mobile banking app. Until very recently you needed a card reader to send payments to a new payee and you are still unable to change the reference on a payment when using the app, which is how I mainly bank. I have had no other issues and find them to be a decent bank. Reviewed on: 26th March 2023
