They increased the quote after I had paid!!

1
I came to O2Drive through a quote through compare the market.com (CTM.COM) and completed all necessary information (CTM.COM) including details of a previous claim. The insurance quote was marginally better than my previous company and so I accepted the quote, only to get a bill two weeks later for another £56 in a letter saying that I hadn't disclosed information of my previous claim, which I did. When I complained they said that CTM.COM quote didn't have any record of my previous claim but it was recorded and I had a screen shot of this. They still won't budge, and wouldn't cancel the insurance without £60 charge and further charges for use of the insurance. I'm absolutely furious with them as through chaining to them my insurance has now increased over staying with my existing company. I would not recommend them. Please tread carefully. Cannot speed at ALL.

1
If you go just over 70mph for reasons of overtaking in your car on the motorway then you will be flagged. 3 flags and it’s gameover. They will cancel your insurance and this can affect your policy for future insurance companies. Your driver like myself it’s a NEVER AGAIN. Don’t do it to yourself even if your saving some money, not worth the hassle honestly. Reviewed on: 11th August 2018

Do Not Use

1
no point in making sure you have the o2drive app when it doesn't even work, black box is literally taped to your battery and they will cancel the policy if the battery gets changed as it trips the recorder in this. There is a reason why they come out so cheap Reviewed on: 7th August 2018

Useless scamming thieves

1
They won’t accept the emailed copies of no claims. Sent original but they somehow don’t have it?? Utterly useless customer service that couldn’t care less in fact I doubt he even had my policy up on the screen when patronising me. Lots of threatening emails for cancelling and charging £60 because I haven’t sent them proof of no claims. Now I don’t have my no claims paperwork because they have it. This company is on a par with Vodafone, and that is not a compliment. Do not use, they are clueless. Reviewed on: 24th July 2018

O2 Oh No

1
When the renewal came around it was approx £400 more than I got it for from another provider !! I’m 63 with a clean license and 10 years no claims !! About a month after I finished with them they sent me rude emails followed up by Ryder phone calls saying I owed them £25 for missing a payment ? Which they passed onto a debt collector. Just a horrible company. Avoid at all costs ... Reviewed on: 3rd July 2018

Clueless customer service

Set up my daughter's car insurance with tem twice it has been cancelled through no fault of hers, this time they took there money 4 days later cancelled due to a second fault with her black box stating they have tried to contact her to do a diagnostic but they have not attempted to get hold of her at all now they want to start a new policy again and want yet more money upfront total con artists!!!! Reviewed on: 4th May 2018

Terrible

1
Was reasonably priced  in the first place insuring a 2.0 BMW at 18 only cost me 2.5k with black box (not too bad). Forgot to mention a minor non fault accident a named driver had 3 years ago and bumped my premium up to 3.5k.  Reviewed on: 26th April 2018

RUBBISH Black Box

1
Took out insurance with these thieves and they cancelled insurance because the black box stopped working. Phoned them to resolve and they said no engineers were available to look at the box so cancellation stands. SO UNFAIR THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT TREATING CUSTOMERS UNFAIRLY and the government needs to step in to stop these these cowboys ruining peoples driving records unfairly. Reviewed on: 25th April 2018
