Over charging rip off!!

1
ZERO STARS!!! BEWARE!!! Since Febuary 2018 I have made the min payment every month on time. Despite my balance reducing each month the interest charged increased as did the monthly payment. For example, the interest in March was £106.48 then £115.11 in April. In May it was £103.03 and then in June £105.16. The min payment in March was £164 and then £172 in April and £175 in May. When I rang customer service to ask how I can be charged higher interest and payments each month on a reducing balance they could not explain, even after the representative agreed with me that it wasn't what she'd expect and asked her manager for advice. They are now sending me a letter which will, apparently, explain the inexplainable. I've had credit cards for 25 years and no other company increases charges like this. Reviewed on: 11th July 2018

Terrible customer service

Agent was not listening to me when I was giving my details had to repeat myself a number of times. Robert didn’t know basic facts on my account then answered with offers for balance transfers are not on the account have been removed until the new financial year. Once Robert had got his facts straight after supposedly speaking with his manager he processed my request. I then asked exactly how much was the charge he replied with the percentage. I asked well could you tell me that in the actual pound figure he replied I’m not able to give Financial advice and said need to get a calculator and work it out myself. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2018

Good card but not great customer service

It’s been a great card in terms of having 30 month Interest free and the app being easy to use but their customer service isn’t great. I accidentally changed my direct debit from minimum payment to balance in full. I phoned to explain and they told me the refund would be back in my account within 5-10 days. It took 3 phone calls and 18 days to finally receive a cheque from them which then took another 5 days to clear. 23 days is a long way away from 5-10 and I got no apology. Terrible customer service

1
The post office have the worst customer service I have had the unfortunate luck to come across. Their telephone assistance is downright disgraceful. Firstly they wouldn't let me tell them I was intending to go abroad unless I downloaded the app! I was on the telephone telling them but they refused to log it unless I downloaded the app. Secondly I made a balance transfer and this left my card in credit. I cut up the card and telephoned to advise them that I wanted to refund the credit and close my account. Simple you would think. Oh no , not with the post office. You need to ring list and stolen , order a new credit card , wait for it to come , register it , ring them back and cancel it then cut it up ! !! What a waste of time and money !!!! This must cost their company thousands and cause customers a head ache. No wonder my shares are dropping. The advisors don't let you talk to a senior , it's just a disgrace. Unless you have lots of time and patience I wouldn't bother with this company it's awful Reviewed on: 22nd September 2017

Easy, efficient, and handy

I've been very impressed with my PO credit card. I got a long 0% deal, which was very useful at he time, and have found their service easy and efficient, quick to set up, and well organised. They have an app for your phone which makes it very easy to make payments, and keeps you informed of the figures and payments etc, and they also send an email once a month reminding you of payments due. Overall, easy and efficient - recommended! Reviewed on: 15th August 2017

Poor customer service and difficult complaints procedure

1
Card is ok if you want to avoid foreign transaction charges. Major issue if you have a problem. Whilst the customer service folks are polite enough, they just really stick with their scripts. I have a dispute on a transaction and the procedure is painful. My advice, pay the foreign exchange fee and get decent service if there is a problem as I have never had issues with other providers as I have with this one. Reviewed on: 5th August 2017

Credit Card Dispute

If you intend to use when abroad - 100% recommend If you require customer service - it's non existent. I paid a substantial deposit for a new kitchen fitting - the Company has gone bust - 5 phone calls each in excess of 35 minutes 1 letter mailed over 2 weeks ago no progress . Cannot speak to anyone, email anyone - it is a joke, how this bank is allowed to operate in this manner is beyond me AVOID AT ALL COSTS if you are likely to need any customer service How this bank is allowed to operate in this manner is beyond me Reviewed on: 24th July 2017
