Terrible experience all round.

Terrible experience all round. My husband renewed insurance only for them to cancel it and take money from our account. No reason given by customer service for this. Worse ever service. Don't call back have to wait up to eight weeks to get it resolved even though clearly mistake their side. Worst company I've ever been with with and I have been driving for a long time and have maximum no claims. DONT GO WITH, MUCH BETTER COMPANIES OUT THERE. Reviewed on: 30th December 2024

Appalling customer service

I reported a car accident, which was not my fault. Subsequently, I and my husband spent at least 3 hours on the phone, plus e mailing to be lied to, and be passed across from the Post office, to the broker, and on to the damage repairs company and finally the company providing me with a courtesy car. To say the Post Office were incompetent in dealing with my claim is being kind to them. The final insult occurred when they had the temerity to put my annual premium up by 90%! Needless to say, I have no intention of renewing my car insurance policy with them ever again. Reviewed on: 21st June 2023

They use RAC a poor provider

Catastrophic experience

Certainly the worst car insurance in my 23 years of buying car insurance. Had an accident on 29th April and today 5th of June, have not made any progress with my claim at all. Daily emails and telephone calls with no progress. My fault of buying from such company but I wasnt aware that post office insurance will use such a dreadful underwriter. Lodged a complaint to financial ombudsman and waiting for a resolution to this lengthy painful claim Reviewed on: 6th June 2023

Post Office don't answer the phone & won't actually deal with your car insurance

Our car was crashed into AT 2 AM on 6 Feb by a Taxi. We are still (23 April) dealing with the 6 subcontractors the Post Office car insurance use to do their job for them: 1. Post Office, 2. Enterprise, 3. Underwriters, 4. MarkerStudy, 5. Vizion, and finally 6. the actual crash repair company! Try finding an e-mail for the Post Office for your car insurance after a crash and you will not find one. Phone? In February waited 45 minutes on 2 phones before anyone answered! NEVER AGAIN. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

Awful service

Insured with these. Missed a tiny detail when completing form, was unable to amend instead they cancel my policy but refuse to return the payment of £315 I paid as it’s in a holding account? Make out they are doing me a favour asking their support team to give me a same day refund in 4 days? If not a colleague may arrange a refund in 10 plus days - so almost 3 weeks. They cancelled the policy the refund should be immediate. I will look forward to receiving 3 weeks interest at 4% Shocking service Reviewed on: 26th February 2023

Courtesy car

Had DPD van hit my car . Repairs were arranged, so all good. Then enterprise said they had no instructions for them as to a courtesy car. So 7 calls later after going through options trail, to be either cut off, after told I was being transferred to the correct department . Still have no answer. Insurers stating they have instructed enterprise to book courtesy car, and enterprise saying they have not. Still have no solution. Never had this with any other car insurance companies before. Avoid this company

Just read the reviews from other its true they always pass you to someone else. So many calls to them but none back from them. I have guaranteed replacement car Its been over a week, nothing not even call from them. They blame others 3rd party's. Wish I read reviews before taken out any policy with them, never again.
