Good: Easy to open accounts, great features on some...

Good: Easy to open accounts, great features on some plans especially with travel, insurance is included, and you can also get some subscriptions too. Bad: Over the past year ive held an account, they have been reducing the value of their product more and more significantly whilst keeping it at the same price, such as changing their travel exchange rates to now include small fees and still big fees on weekends despite what plan one is on and that they use exchange rates as a selling point for their services, they also got rid of cash back and instead replaced it with a new points system, however it is obviously of less value than the previous cash back scheme and it cant really be hidden that they made the change to increase their profit margins and not to benefit their customers. Given this, probably will stop using it as my main account soon, but will keep it open only for travel purposes. Reviewed on: 13th January 2025

Really great product removes banking pain points

From a super straight forward and easy sign up, to included subscriptions, travel insurance and offers, an easy to use app to manage everything and more, Revolut have thought through all corners of their experience. Moving to the UK, I was struggling to set up a bank account to use, but then I found Revolut and it took me literally about 3 minutes before I could start spending. Could not recommend more, they work hard to take all the pain points out of the banking experience and it pays off. I realise that their exchange rates have slipped a little from their original 'true to market' promise that they marketed a few years ago, now their rates will be end up running you only a few cents more which is still pretty good and I would say still worth it given the extras they provide you with and purchase protection.
