Revolut is an e-money institution which means you can take out an everyday account to manage your money in a range of ways.

You can send, spend, receive and hold a range of currencies. Customers get a physical debit card for everyday spending, a virtual card and a single-use virtual card that resets its details each time you use it.

Solid app-only bank

Yeah I quite like Revolut - one of the new app only banks, but you can still have a physical card if you want. The easiest I find it for is paying friends when you owe them money - it is dead easy, and super simple if you both have the app! Reviewed on: 1st February 2023

Great overall

Revolut offers a clear view of the accounts and expenses. I like I can personalize the app as well as the cards. Safety offered with the virtual cards for online purchases is great. Works smoothly and never had any issues with it while I’ve been using it for more than 6 years Reviewed on: 12th March 2025

CARD ISSUES

I’ve had to use Revolut couple of times, few of these times I’ve had issues using my card with Apple Pay which has left me stranded. But then, the banking and app is a good one. Reviewed on: 12th March 2025
