Good basic credit card with no fee, handy when traveling abroad. Although the limit of credit supplied is much less than other credit cards in the same category. Very simple to set up if you have another account with the bank, immediately approved. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

No customer service

I advised Santander of my trip to the USA and gave them the dates, and was assured that their records would be noted. In the US the card has worked as normal, but it no longer appears on the app or on on-line banking. I cannot therefore check my card balance. I phoned Santander (costly from USA) and was told they would sort it and phone me back; they never did phone, and my account still indicates that I do not hold this card. Accessing Santander from US was very difficult, and I need to wait until I return to the UK to try to sort this in Branch. Very disappointing and disconcerting. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023

Fairly standard

I've banked with Santander for manu years. They are one of the few banks that seem to maintain a reasonable presence on the high street, whilst investing a lot of effort into online and mobile banking. Their account offers are OK, but they don't really reward customer loyalty. Reviewed on: 9th March 2023
