Don't waste your time - Stay away!!

Absolutely RUBBISH service, I have been with the bank for few years but i only started using them as a primary bank recently and as long as you don't have to contact them it woks fine.

However, recenly I used their app and tried to make a payment to a friend in emergency and it confirmed that it went OK, but i only found out after two days from my friend that the payment wasn't received. This happened 2 times in a row so can't be an isolated one off incident.

Santanders customer service, fraud team all gave contradicting reasons why the transactions didnt go through.

I asked my other friends and they said the same thing that the bank is not at all reliable when you have to make emergency payments via their site or apps and their call centrea are not 24/7.

Don't trust the customer service they say something on the phone and something else comes by post when you raise a complain.

Their call centres are also not 24/7; as you would expect for someone who has a premium 123 current account where u pay a monyhly feee.

Don't waste your time - Stay away and bank with other reputable high street banks!!

Good but can get costly

Was brilliant at first but they then put the charge up so we are now not earning as much, it seems like they are taking more from you and giving less back. But, every little helps I am still making some monthly profit plus they have cashback offers....

Unfortunately it is not advertised unless you look for it on the app and am unsure if you would be able to use any of the offers without the app.

1-2-3 works for me

The 123 account has been great for me. A monthly summary shows me that I'm making a profit by paying my bills through this account. It also has a great interest rate. I just wish the interest rate on a savings account was better than the current...

The 123 account has been great for me. A monthly summary shows me that I'm making a profit by paying my bills through this account. It also has a great interest rate. I just wish the interest rate on a savings account was better than the current account - I'm not that comfortable keeping all my money together but I feel I'm 'forced' by the interest rates available at Santander.

Current account with a bonus

I have been using the 123 account for 7 years now and my favourite part is when I earn the interest back on all the monthly bills I pay. Its a lovely bonus at the end of each month and comes in at just the right times.

Decent bank

A decent bank. While opening my account they had technical issues, but had good staff who quickly apologized and sorted it out. Mobile and online banking generally good - but app doesn't work on rooted Android phones.

Worlds apart

Transfering to this account was so simple. I wish I had done years ago. My money was sst in my account just looking at me. Now I earn money every month just by doing all the things I was doing anyway. I cannot rate this product high enough.

Branch staff are always really helpful and go the extra mile.

I went into the Chichester branch to set up a new account. The staff were really friendly and explained everything very clearly. The incentive of a free 4 year railcard with the student account, was extremely useful.

great choices

This bank employs great staff who actually know what they are talking about, unlike other banks. The 123 account is wonderful with perks for the customer. All in all I would recommend this bank to anyone who is looking to change banks.

Incompetent morons. I have had the same phone number for 22 years. It has been registered for Internet banking for about the same amount of time. I can see it on my Internet banking page right now in the Personal Details...

Incompetent morons. I have had the same phone number for 22 years. It has been registered for Internet banking for about the same amount of time. I can see it on my Internet banking page right now in the Personal Details section.

Santander, however, maintain that they have a different number for me for the purposes of making on-line payments (OTP code). As I do not know what that number is, they refuse to help me. They entered some random number on their system and want me to guess it!
