When my home and contents cover came up for renewal I was horrified that the premium had gone up by over 35% so we did some research for better offers. Using the same data we discovered that insuring house and contents separately was much cheaper than doing them together. Churchill also told me on the phone that if I went elsewhere then I would get a better offer next year! In the end we have re-insured partly with Churchill and gone elsewhere for the contents saving us nearly £90 overall.

I had to make a claim following a hole-in-one and the whole process was very easy and they settled the amount in full without delay.
