Absolutely avoid.

Absolutely avoid. Terrible customer experience, from a bank that won’t even allow you to control your own money, nor give you even bother to give you a reason why. As a Product Designer I can also confidently say the user experience is comical. Rather than drawing focus to the funds in your account, they prioritise how much you’ve spent that day by drawing contrast to this, rather than what you have available. The staff are rude, unhelpful and not remorseful in the slightest. The last straw for me was when my sister desperately needed me to send some money to her and Starling blocked it. It's a great account for a small business like ours. We love the accessibility to do everything we need to on our phones, plus the fact you don't charge us fees. We moved to you from a High Street bank for that reason alone but have stayed because we love the account. Reviewed on: 16th March 2024
