Absolutely avoid.

Absolutely avoid. Terrible customer experience, from a bank that won’t even allow you to control your own money, nor give you even bother to give you a reason why. As a Product Designer I can also confidently say the user experience is comical. Rather than drawing focus to the funds in your account, they prioritise how much you’ve spent that day by drawing contrast to this, rather than what you have available. The staff are rude, unhelpful and not remorseful in the slightest. The last straw for me was when my sister desperately needed me to send some money to her and Starling blocked it. Starling Bank, not for business Banking

As a business customer with foreign payments, I have found them useless. They frequently delay payments, which causes me issues with my clients and is very costly in management time. Everything is on the app, and the website is a reduced service in what you can do, so you cannot respond to customer service messages, for instance. One issue is that you cannot get a record of customer service massaged as the app is so secure. A business may need a paper trail for an issue; you cannot do it with Starling, not even a screenshot, as it's disabled for security. You can ask them to send an email, but you must do it each time, which adds a delay. I could not recommend them for business banking; they are just not set up for anything other than a small setup. Feel free to drop us an email with any questions you have to [email protected], but for now, here are some things that may help: - All your messages with our customer service team can be found in your app. You can go to your menu at the app's top by clicking the round icon, scroll down to 'Help' and then select 'Talk to Starling'. All your previous messages with us are there. You can take screenshots, and this can be allowed in-app, too. However, after a period, it will automatically disable, and you'll have to select the option again: Click on the round icon at the top of your app, then on the dented icon at the top, select 'login&security' and then 'enable screenshots' by toggling the option. You'll have 15 minutes to use this. You can view and download statements from your app by clicking on the round icon at the top of your app. Again, we'd love to help with anything you need and make your experience better with us.
