I had to find a new current account as Marks & Spencer are closing all their current accounts. I saw an on-line video about Starling Bank and knew that this would be the account for me as everything is done by App on my phone. My switch date was 19th March and I am extremely impressed. First of all with the card itself as all your information is on the back. The App itself tells you exactly what you have spent each day and what is due to come into your account. For instant is has a circle in the middle of the App which states what you have spent on a particular day. If you tap on it, it will give you a breakdown as to where exactly you have spent it. It also shows direct debits going out the following day and any incoming money. The other benefit was that you could use your card for Contactless purchases straight away. This suits me really well because I only have to check my phone to see where my money is going which is great. I am sure that I am going to become more happy when I have familiarised myself completely with the services available on this card. So far I am extremely happy and would recommend it Starling Bank to any of my friends considering switching banks. Reviewed on: 29th March 2021

The app is the best there is...

Layout and functionality of the app is the best there is in banking apps; practical, user friendly and aesthetic. I would like a search feature where it can tell me how much I've spent / income in from specific vendors however this doesn't impact my day to day use of the app, a little add luxury. Excellent customer service with seamless safe banking

Really love the features that Starling offer, especially Spaces as it makes it so much easier to manage my money. Plus a savings account interest rate better than my previous bank. I also love how user friendly the app is and it's very visually pleasing. I've spoken to customer services via the chat on a few occasions since I became a customer and staff have been incredibly helpful and friendly. It is a good way for saving. I find this bank has helped me a lot. They have very good communication and are always aware when there’s an issue, and very quick upon fixing the problem. When accessing the app it’s very quick and efficient. Innovative approach to Banking

Easy to set up. Seamless transmission to Starling. Nothing complicated so far. Fine philosophy for a bank without pages and pages of small print. The app is a sheer delight to use with transfers made in a timely fashion. Looking forward to being with this bank for a long time. Banking from the customers' point of view

Starling bank has helped me manage my money through the app which is so user friendly and the spaces. I can keep track of my spending in real-time and see a breakdown of where I'm spending. Security is excellent and I can transfer money quickly, update direct debits, and see my balance in an instant. Starling bank really think about banking from the customer's point of view.
