I filed an accident claim on 6th Sept/2024 and on 10th Sep/2024 the insurance company called me to settled the total loss amount which was to be credited to my bank account within 5 to 7 days but it was passed after 7 days. The fixed settled amount was not received. When i asked to Swfitcover on phone call, the representatives kept transferring the call to each other and after waiting for a long time, they were told to wait until next Tuesday, If the total loss settlement is not deposited in your bank account on Tuesday, then contact again, this situation is happening to me for the first time in 17 years, really bad experience with this insurance company. Lack of proper coordination between different departments leading to waste of time in passing the customer call to different representative which shows company lack of goodwill. Not paying the client despite fixing the settlement amount and wasting time and various pretexts. Reviewed on: 20th September 2024

please don`t bother unless you want unbelievable stress and frustration costing you a lot more money than your cheap quote, in the event of a claim your adviser when telephoning will tell you one thing, and when the claim is settled your the one very much out of pocket, I would rather stab myself in the eye with a screwdriver than use this company again Reviewed on: 29th September 2017

The insurance company is a crap!!! Was hit while stationary in my car by other driver - and my premiums gone up £300!!! For not my fault accident!!! That's a joke! Been told that even if it's not my fault I am more likely to get in the accident in the future!!!! I WAS STATIONARY!!!! Have 10 years NCB... jokers. Moved to other insurer and paying much less... will cancel home insurance as well as it has gone up by £100 for no reason... Reviewed on: 20th September 2017

Yearly price hikes

Using this provider for a few years with automatic renewal I became aware that each year the premium rose considerably. I cancelled my renewal this September and changed insurers with a saving of over £90. I am an experienced driver with over 50 years of driving experience so there is no excuse for such discrepancy in various premiums. Reviewed on: 13th September 2017

Terrible Claims Service - Avoid this Company

No fault claim and the claims service is seriously shocking. On average it takes two hours to get them to answer the phone - that's right 2 hours. On one day my mobile ran out of power whilst holding and on another the office closed before I got answered - joke of a company - avoid Reviewed on: 31st May 2017
