I filed an accident claim on 6th Sept/2024 and on 10th Sep/2024 the insurance company called me to settled the total loss amount which was to be credited to my bank account within 5 to 7 days but it was passed after 7 days. The fixed settled amount was not received. When i asked to Swfitcover on phone call, the representatives kept transferring the call to each other and after waiting for a long time, they were told to wait until next Tuesday, If the total loss settlement is not deposited in your bank account on Tuesday, then contact again, this situation is happening to me for the first time in 17 years, really bad experience with this insurance company. Lack of proper coordination between different departments leading to waste of time in passing the customer call to different representative which shows company lack of goodwill. Not paying the client despite fixing the settlement amount and wasting time and various pretexts. Reviewed on: 20th September 2024

This insurance company is a RIPOFF people, BEWARE BE WARNED.

Had a quote last year for £380 good deal I was happy. This year 16 oct 2023 they wanted £480 called them today 36 hours later and they said today £800. Been with this company for so long nearly 50 no convictions 16 years ncb and they treat me like a nobody or a young teenager so had to drive today with no insurance due to them wasting a lot of my time today. Total rip-off gits. STAY CLEAR as your renewal will be double. Propa pisstakers. Reviewed on: 19th October 2023

Took 7 months to contact independent witness,then after my complaints took 3rd party side even with my witness! They are dishonest & have never spoken to my witness! Reviewed on: 18th September 2023

Would not recommend swift

I have had issues with swifts customer service being very poor and also there price for me to renew was exceptionally high considering i had no claims and as a current customer I expected the premium to stay the same or even better reduce instead it increased by almost 20% Reviewed on: 22nd August 2023

Policy renewal price

It is the first time in my life when I'm staying with the same insurance company and I'm getting charged even more for no extra benefit. Tried to contact customer service for this matter, long waiting time for nothing, just to be told that there is nothing they can do anymore once they get your money. My no claims discount bonus went up however the insurance price went up as well. They didn't even try to get me the same price as the previous year, not to even mention a cheaper one. Again, first time ever when that happens and the only company that does it! Would not recommend! Reviewed on: 10th March 2023

Avoid at all costs

If i could leave 0 stars I would. My car was involved in a minor collision at the beginning of December 2022. Reported everything online as should have been. I was told that the garage Wedd and White were allocated to fix the car. Fast forward to end of December and I hadn't heard anything. I called swift numerous times who provided no help whatsoever, not to mention each time I was on hold for upwards of an hour sometimes 2. I eventually got somewhere when I put an official complaint in. My car was collected at the end of Feb 2023 for repairs and now I have heard nothing, it should have been 2 days its been 2 weeks. Clearly swift out source the repairs to shocking garages and leave their customers to do all the chasing. Avoid this company at all costs, they haven't even got back to me about my complaint, will be taking this up with the ombudsman.
