Ok where do I start !!!!!! If you want to get car insurance then look else where !!!!!!!!! I have spent more time on the phone trying to get help with my policy than I ever have with all my other policy’s in the last 31 years !!!!!!!!!!!!! People say they will call you back and even email you……….they don’t !!!!!!!!!! Their call centre is in South Africa and I couldn’t really understand the call workers……and this just build up the blood pressure!!!!!!! I am sure they try and keep you from getting all ur paperwork sorted in the first 14 days so they can then hit you with a £50 admin fee like they did to me :( and I have sent sooooooo many emails and wasted soooooo much time trying to do this in the first 14 days that yes I do feel hard done by !!!!!! I really feel hard done by as it’s their poor admin why I am now having to pay an admin fee !!!!!!! I have opened up a complaint : Your case reference: 34639373 Our reference:FPM6022725531FC And if I do ever hear back from them and they do me right I will come back to this review and do an update………..but I am more than sure they won’t !!!!!!! Please learn from my mistake and don’t just go for the cheaper option as it really is not worth the hassle………some times in life you realise that you are dealing with amateurs…………….. :( Please be warned !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Disgusting company they couldn't even set up my dire...

Disgusting company they couldn't even set up my direct debit properly then because they hadn't done it tried to charge me late payment fees on top this happened for 3 months on the trot every time I phoned and told them to complete the direct debit every month they said they would every month they didn't even my bank said they hadn't done what they needed to do their side . In the end I canceled the policy as I was sick of late payment fees. They were very rude I paid a cancelation fee just to get away from these cowboys absolute con men . Really need investigating there's also a whole facebook page made about this awful company and it's dodgy dealing I'd check it out I wish I had seen it before I took out the policy . They also make up a date that you passed your driving test and when you say no I passed it on such a date they accuse you of false information even though nobody ever asked me the date of passing they then charge to amend something that wasn't your fault . They also try to say of the date of ownership doesn't match up with day of purchase of the vehicle on your log book they will charge you to amend that they make out you told them things you didn't and then charge you to amend each thing . The worst 'insurance' company I come across in more than three decades of using car insurance. Incredibly dishonest, incompetent and arrogant -- prefer working against their own interests, too! Had to deal with them through an ombudsman who proved to be an utter moron, but I got at least some money and satisfaction back. Reviewed on: 6th September 2024

The Worst Insurance Company, Awful, Greedy, Deceitful,

Why do 1st Central do their so called checks after the cooling off period. I would have cancelled immediately. I purchased this insurance via a comparison site and forgot to update that I am now retired, and to update this info , I am being fined £338.74. This is extortionate, and they have my card details which I will not be authorising. These people are greedy and are not cheap at all. If I had seen these reviews, I would not have purchased. I WILL SPREAD THE WORD: DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THESE PEOPLE. I could have rated a negative number if possible. Why so many bad reviews, there must be a problem.
