Review of the Adrian Flux, Personal Insurance Broker:

Charged several £35 admin fees.

1
Charged several £35 admin fees. One to update my accommodation from a house to flat. The other was to update my NCB discount on another vehicle. Got charged an additional £70 because I had a 'For information only' Claim. No claim was made and no money transferred. Adrian flux charged £70, whereas when I informed other insurers for my other vehicles. They said this didn't matter and doesn't effect the policy as its for information only and no claim was made. They were the cheapest option for me, I now understand how they can quote so low. They'll make it up elsewhere after you've paid and if you want to back out within the 14-day cool off period, it will be £80 to cancel. Regret not cancelling at the first admin fee. Will not use them again and will choose a less budget provider. Reviewed on: 7th November 2024

Break in no-claims discount, try Adrian Flux

I have been driving for over 30 years and had no claims of over 5 years. I then took a company car which had insurance included for over 2 years. When I bought a car again I found that lots of insurance companies would not take into account my NCD as it was over 2 years ago. I was advised to try Adrian Flux, who, although a little more expensive to a normal insurance company were very fair against if I would have lost all my discount. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Insurance went up £200, with no accidents or claims!

1
I went with Adrian Flux because they are a local company and I always believe in supporting local companies. The first year (2014) I rang up and my insurance was a lovely £330 with business insurance as well as only 3 years NCB. I rang up the next year hoping for something similar however, they wanted over £500!! I didn't have time to shop around so I went with it, stupidly! After looking online, I could have got it much cheaper. Talk about supporting local businesses!! Reviewed on: 15th March 2016

Good price but when we suffered a cracked windscreen it took endless phone calls and emails to access the windscreen insurance we had taken out at the same time as the car insurance. Was sent all around the houses several times. Reviewed on: 27th February 2016
