Avoid as they are legalised thief's,

Avoid as they are legalised thief's, I was given a quote, I accepted, they then said they gave wrong quote (£420 then went to £1400) I said no, cancel it, they said they will refund with £85 fee deducted, it was not due to start until old insurance ran out (2 week’s time) but no they still wanted £85, now I have all the hassle to get full refund through small claims court, nothing but con artists. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

1
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Quoted me £450 online which I agreed and paid. Several days later they asked me to call them to validate the insurance and asked for an additional £380. On that basis I asked them to cancel the quote and to issue me with refund which they agreed to, but will be deducting an £80 admin fee out of it. This is despite the policy not being set up and being within the 14 day cooling off period. Absolute daylight robbery - NO NOT USE! Reviewed on: 4th December 2024

Charged several £35 admin fees.

Charged several £35 admin fees. One to update my accommodation from a house to flat. The other was to update my NCB discount on another vehicle. Got charged an additional £70 because I had a 'For information only' Claim. No claim was made and no money transferred. Adrian flux charged £70, whereas when I informed other insurers for my other vehicles. They said this didn't matter and doesn't effect the policy as its for information only and no claim was made. They were the cheapest option for me, I now understand how they can quote so low. They'll make it up elsewhere after you've paid and if you want to back out within the 14-day cool off period, it will be £80 to cancel. Regret not cancelling at the first admin fee. Will not use them again and will choose a less budget provider. Reviewed on: 7th November 2024

Stay clear

1
Stay clear of this company Stay clear of this company! You have been warned. Not only will they take the full amount from the finance company but will charge you a massive fee to cancel! Might be the cheapest policy but you will pay in the long run. Keep well away!!!!!! They have over £300 still available that was paid from the finance company and want to charge me over £120 more to cancel. Daylight robbery. #legal scam.. in effect a £400 policy for one year has worked out £500 for canceling. Really Adrian Flux? Reviewed on: 20th September 2024

RIP OFF AGENTS

These guys seem to work within their own rules and scam people for money. I can honestly say I have never dealt with such incompetence and deceit. Must suggest people avoid. Reviewed on: 20th July 2024

Warning.....

1
I have recommended this company several times over the years my son has used them. However, my son has been poorly treated - treated quite ruthlessly actually - since he cancelled his policy in March. He is out of the country and emailed to say he had sold his car and didn't need the insurance any more and could they refund him anything that might be due. They apparently emailed back (he didn't receive it) to ask him to confirm again whether he definitely wanted to cancel, or whether they should carry the policy on against a "dummy registration". Whatever one of these is?! Can they even do this? Surely a new car = new policy? Upshot of this is that Adrian Flux did not cancel his policy in March as instructed, did not refund any monies due back to my son AND then renewed the policy for a car sold 4 months ago and took £500 out of his bank account this week! We are nowhere near sorting this mess out and I wanted to post this as a warning to any parents of younger people that they seem to need to be super careful with this company. I do not like how they have manipulated this situation with a young person not very experienced in formal communication, especially as he is so far from home and with an 8-hour time difference cannot communicate at all well. Years of loyalty means nothing

Been with adrian flux for years. Always helpful and very informative. Came to this years renewal and my policy gone up by £140. When I spoken with a representative I have been explained that my policy is gone up because everyone else causes accidents and makes claims. This conversation puts me in a spot where if I let it slide theres no guarantee that next year they will not pull the same stunt again. Im not sure what world they living in as it’s very wrong to try to charge people on the basis that someone else is driving like a tool, made an arrangements elsewhere saved £240 on premium, strangely enough there’s plenty of brokers who does not increase their prices like flux did, very likely never be back. Very untrustworthy

1
Adrian flux review Appalling service and very untrustworthy company. I don’t normally write reviews but this company is truly awful. I passed my test December last year and started my policy, after the initial larger payment in January I would be paying £138 per month, this was decreased to £124. Weeks later I received a email saying I have a payment overdue of £97, after ringing up they told me not to worry and they’re not sure why I have received this email. I was assured repeatedly I’d be paying the same monthly payments of £124. A day later I received a email saying my monthly payments are increasing to £140, after ringing up again I was told not to worry and my monthly payments would be £124 going forward, I asked repeatedly to make sure this was the case. In feb they took a payment of £124 howver in march they decided that I now pay £140? And going forward I will be paying £140. Chopped and changed my monthly payments and told me different things every time I rang up to ask about it. They also made me feel like I’m arguing over pennies when In fact I’m just trying to understand how my monthly payments are constantly changing. On top of a cost of living crisis it’s a very disgusting company and in my opinion intentionally confuse customers so that they give up asking questions. Also there are many many hidden fees and will constantly try to sell you crap at the end of phone calls. Reviewed on: 6th March 2024

poor customer service left me stranded

Just wanted to register my dissatisfaction with Adrian Flux Customer Services. I bought a van today, phoned up to transfer my insurance to the new van so I could drive the 130 miles home. Waited listening to an annoying message for 45minutes, while my blood slowly boiled, untill I was cut off with a message 'our lines are now closed, call back tomorrow morning'. I was on the other side of the country, with my kids at home on their own, with no insurance. Don't use Adrian Flux unless you like poor customer service. Reviewed on: 14th February 2024

I am a driving instructor and had an accident in my vehicle. Currently waiting for a courtesy which I have paid for on my policy and still have no car. This is day 4 @ they just don’t care. I’ve made constant calls and emails. They’re really do not care about their customers. So first and last time for me. I’ll also be spreading the word. They’re not even worth 1 star Reviewed on: 18th January 2024
