Adrian Flux is the UK’s largest specialist motor insurance broker but they also offer other types of cover.

Car insurance policies include cover for standard vehicles, kit cars, disabled and learner drivers, classic and high-performance cars.

Adrian Flux also offer general home insurance and cover for holiday, high-value and unoccupied homes as well as subsidence and flood risk.

Other policies include bike and van insurance, cover for motorhomes as well as key care and breakdown cover.

Very untrustworthy

Adrian flux review Appalling service and very untrustworthy company. I don’t normally write reviews but this company is truly awful. I passed my test December last year and started my policy, after the initial larger payment in January I would be paying £138 per month, this was decreased to £124. Weeks later I received a email saying I have a payment overdue of £97, after ringing up they told me not to worry and they’re not sure why I have received this email. I was assured repeatedly I’d be paying the same monthly payments of £124. A day later I received a email saying my monthly payments are increasing to £140, after ringing up again I was told not to worry and my monthly payments would be £124 going forward, I asked repeatedly to make sure this was the case. In feb they took a payment of £124 howver in march they decided that I now pay £140? And going forward I will be paying £140. Chopped and changed my monthly payments and told me different things every time I rang up to ask about it. They also made me feel like I’m arguing over pennies when In fact I’m just trying to understand how my monthly payments are constantly changing. On top of a cost of living crisis it’s a very disgusting company and in my opinion intentionally confuse customers so that they give up asking questions. Also there are many many hidden fees and will constantly try to sell you crap at the end of phone calls. Reviewed on: 6th March 2024

poor customer service left me stranded

Just wanted to register my dissatisfaction with Adrian Flux Customer Services. I bought a van today, phoned up to transfer my insurance to the new van so I could drive the 130 miles home. Waited listening to an annoying message for 45minutes, while my blood slowly boiled, untill I was cut off with a message 'our lines are now closed, call back tomorrow morning'. I was on the other side of the country, with my kids at home on their own, with no insurance. Don't use Adrian Flux unless you like poor customer service. Reviewed on: 14th February 2024

I am a driving instructor and had an accident in my vehicle. Currently waiting for a courtesy which I have paid for on my policy and still have no car. This is day 4 @ they just don’t care. I’ve made constant calls and emails. They’re really do not care about their customers. So first and last time for me. I’ll also be spreading the word. So if you're a new driver and thinking about use them DON'T. my son has used them and has nothing but trouble with them, there black box is a pain has had messages after message that the box has been removed from car, it hasn't, final got a email cancelling the insurance in 7day, but rung them and told he insurance was cancelled that day so would hane been driving with no insurance. poor customer service, rip-off quotes

telephone wait of over 30 minutes every time! i have been a customer for over 5 years. Then changed from motorhome to van. First they quoted me as Adrian Flux. Then as Sterling van when I called them. But Adrian Flux and Sterling Van are the same company. Difference of over £400. With the same underlying insurer! Tried to rip me off, clearly. i paid for a whole years van insurance to be called and left on hold for half an hour to then be told my premium would change for the worse as the customer service women twisted my words to the underwriters... very stressful. do not use!!! Reviewed on: 25th October 2023

Lesson learned

Adrian Flux Cheapest isn't always best. Changed vehicles mid Term Adrian Flux quote was over twice the amount I could pay elsewhere. After getting through to them ( you're gonna wait half an hour) you'll probably get passed about with folk who obviously don't care. " impossible" to change quote I'm told. So cancelled policy, three months into a years policy, cancellation fee was £200, this was on a policy that cost £350, and had already paid over £100. Was promised a call to discuss. Still waiting.
