Never insured, cancelled my policy and kept the deposit

Last week, I was coned by these fraudsters, I had a quote through GoCompare.com, received an email call us back, I then called to basically go through a quote again, Karen (lady on the phone) with a very patronising tone.. do you want 5000 or 8000 miles, where are you going to park overnight, why this -why that etc.. even when, I put all these details on the comparison site. this lady sounded very young with very poor negotiation skills-talking to me as she was my manager-mum (don't know of what) she-they decided to cancel my insurance policy- I never got any policy documents or the policy was never in force as I was planning getting with a least two weeks in advance, I lost my deposit eve where they were the ones that cancelled it- being the victimed here put my new insurance policy by extra £420.. sad that they are people like that acting under the gov regulations doing things as they pleased. I would suggest you do not deal with these people, they lady-business approach is cold and ruthless, taking that things are very hard these days for everyone.. Very Misleading sales staff

Absolute con merchants! Took out second policy during transition from old van to new while removing racking and livery etc. quoted £452 for years policy and paid £67 deposit, sales person told me there would be small cancellation fee when i cancelled £25-35! ive just been on phone for almost an hour and they insist i have another £122.71 to pay so 2 weeks and 3 days cover has cost me over £190! My advice is steer clear and don't entertain this company. Reviewed on: 4th August 2023

Appalling Service from Adrian Flux

Was not happy with terms of agreed value on my cars so tried to cancel my car insurance in the 30 day grace period. Was unable to get my phone call answered, waited over 30minutes at times still did not answer. Tried to email them but email did not go which appeared to be a deliberate ploy. Now forced to send them a recorded delivery letter to cancel policy and I shall be reporting this company to the ombudsman. They are a disgrace. Reviewed on: 28th July 2023

Do not use

Do not use. Nightmare to set up a simple insurance agreement. Made up future charges which weren’t accurate at £100+. Didn’t support completion of additional documents (which weren’t made aware of at the time of purchase) and were told were needed for the policy to be valid, so ended up paying for an insurance we couldn’t rely on. No reply to emails. Lengthy phone call just to cancel and find a more reliable insurer. Reviewed on: 12th July 2023

AVOID ADRIAN FLUX

Took out caravan insurance on line. They took my money and then sent me an email saying they needed more information to validate the insurance. I've never been asked for more information like this in many years of taking out caravan insurance. I then spent a couple of hours trying to get them the right information about the caravan storage site, and decided that to avoid the hassle I'd like to cancel. Even though I'd only paid a couple of hours earlier, and the policy wasn't due to start for a couple of weeks, they wanted to charge £55, on a £122 premium! I ended up having to pay more on the premium rather than take the £55 hit. Hope I never have to make a claim, as I can only see that going one way. AVOID. Good service and good price

I called them last year got a quote but was only a few quid cheaper then my current insurer so renewed with them. However this year gave them another call and got a cheaper rate and was impressed with the professionalism so took it out with them. Would definitely recommend Reviewed on: 11th February 2023

They will rob you blind

Do not use this company iam not paying Adrian flux after what they have done to me. I am not paying their money after I agreed on a different price. I told them I would pay £190 a month half an hour later they told me it would be £220 a month there in the wrong or not and I am taking this further this is not fair there are multi-million pound business and they're trying to make a man who struggles to pay everyday living and they want the amount of £587.69 to which I can't afford and also did not agree to! I would put my hands up if I was in the wrong but I'm not in this case I told them I would pay the cancellation fee and that was it but then being greedy that wasn't enough k for Android Reviewed on: 7th February 2023

Absolute scam they twist and manipulate everything you say

Son has modified van for weekends declared modifications paid insurance then they started with almost threatening emails demanding more money or they will cancel insurance making it difficult to get insurance with anyone else they twisted everything he said and he had paid another 600 to them and now they are disputing his previous no claims they are just after more money and I have reported to trading standard's never in my 50 years of driving have I ever encountered such unethically behaviour definitely a call centre based company with couldn't care less employees just making money Reviewed on: 31st January 2023

Scammers

The most scammy money grabbing **** wipes on the market. I bought a 125cc to practice on whilst i waited for my DAS, insured my bike with them for £350 online, after speaking to them they then wanted a further £300 to which i just gave because i wanted the insurance. Not even 4 weeks later the bike i bought blew up. That's £900 down, so I cancelled the insurance which totalled around £700, the cheeky ***** gave me £180 back when i paid a year upfront, gave me some ******** jargon about admin ect. If you want to insure your bike or modified car do it else where, MCE are a good bike insurance company. I know about modified cars as well because my friend just did a quote for an E90 M3 with 10 years no claims, they wanted 3k+ even though they already had £600 out of him to insure the car whilst it was in storage, something which he arranged in November 2022, he has now cancelled it and got a disgusting £170 back.
