We had 2 hold rings a special Onyx & A heart Ruby st...

We had 2 hold rings a special Onyx & A heart Ruby stolen from our suitcase on the flight from Rhodes Airport to Norwich. BEWARE as it's not something we would normally do but because we had a late flight we had to put them in the case as couldn't have a late check out whilst we spent tge day on tge beach. The case was padlocked and on return to Norwich Airport found the case clasp had been broken & the padlock missing and the 2 Rings. But Avanti doesn't cover any jewellery in a suit case. Affordable travel insurance for senior citizens

Bought on line .Documents arrived within days.Having annual travel insurance means that I can travel abroad at short notice knowing that I always have cover.At age 77 travel insurance can be expensive and restrictive but Avanti allows me to get affordable cover. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Cheaper travel insurance

both of us aged around 80 wanted 10 travel insurance to Malta. Post Office quoted £250. Looked at MSE reviews on travel insurance and Avanti was on their list. Got insurance with Avanti for £104. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Not good for changes to health

All medical cover is suspended if a hospital or GP decides to investigate a condition. Whilst that is going on you will have no medical cover even if the new condition is totally unrelated. i.e an investigation for cancer will preclude any heart issues. Once out of the 14 day cooling off period you get no refund. Reviewed on: 26th March 2024

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE...

After 5 Repeat 5 MONTHS, this excuse for an Insurance Company, has partially settled our claim. They are an absolute disgrace to deal with. Their communication is dire, compassion is ZERO and they just don’t give a toss about their customers We are 77 year Old customers, who have been treated abysmally, throughout this drawn out saga GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR HOLIDAY INSURANCE Reviewed on: 18th March 2024
