I have only joined AXA a few months ago. They were very easy to join and had good reviews. I got my insurance for a decent price. I thankfully haven't had to use them for any problems so cannot.l comment on this aspect. Reviewed on: 7th August 2017

This is my second year with AXA Insurance and wont be my last. The advisers are always extremely helpful and polite. The cover is explained clearly. The price is VERY competitive. Just can't prise them enough. Reviewed on: 20th July 2018

Totally Incompetent

AXA's Claims staff are shockingly bad at their jobs or the department is just ridiculously understaffed - it took more than 9 months for them to deal with one claim and over 6 months to deal with another. Refuse to provide a courtesy car for repairs even though I was entitled to it under my policy, lied about witnesses not sending statements and sending allegations to Third Party insurers. The department is supposed to be open from 8-5 Monday to Friday but you still get an out of office message when trying to call after 8am and you have to wait at least 40 minutes just for someone to answer the phone. Worst customer service experience ever! AXA will cost you a lot of time and money for absolutely nothing. Reviewed on: 4th April 2018

My van insurance is with Dialdirect but uderwritten by Axa. I hit a gatepost 5 weeks ago, so my claim is dealt with by Axa. They will not pick up the phone EVER , I go through around 5-6 departments, all with a selection system, this takes 9 mins, they when I get to underwriting I get put on hold forever. I have complained to Dial direct and they've already refunded the cost of the calls so far. I was told ( via an Axa operator ) that I was being sent a replacement van last week, but that never happened. Dial direct spoke to them 6 days ago about this claim, Axa told them they would get in touch with me, but again no response. I'm thinking of taking Axa to court for the cost of the repair ( I've got the estimate) plus the insurance premium as, If they will not pay out, then technically I do not have any insurance, I've just bought a meaningless piece of paper.
