SHOCKING EXPERIENCE

From the day of the accident nothing but problems, was provided with a courtesy car 5 days after mine was collected, to be taken of me 3 days later as mine was a write off and I’m not covered for a courtesy car if this happens, I have been waiting 4 weeks for a churchill engineer to look at the vehicle as they are behind to decide if it is a write off and still waiting . In the mean time I have no car I have had pay for hire car…The stress this is had on me top of accident and calling the company for weeks on end to get no help, also worrying about school, work hospital appointments. The customer service don’t seem to Know anything and get fobbed off all the time. Still waiting to here about my vehicle a month after the report was done. 4 yeard with Churchill Insurance

I have Car Insurance with Churchill for 4 years now and they always met the need. If another insurance company offered a lower price then Churchill price-mached it and so they kept me their customer. Would definitely recommend. Reviewed on: 5th September 2024

Unprofessional Avoid This Insurance Company!

In June 2022, I was involved in an accident caused by a reckless motorcyclist who overtook a line of cars at excessive speed on a road clearly marked with "two parallel lines and diagonals between them"—indicating that crossing was only allowed when absolutely necessary. I was turning right to go home, well within my legal rights, with multiple witnesses to the incident. The attending police officer documented everything on the scene, including witness statements. However, when I filed my claim, this insurance company began dragging their feet. They kept giving me empty promises of resolution, repeatedly telling me “tomorrow” only for nothing to change. They then claimed they couldn’t contact the witness and, incredibly, couldn’t include the police officer's report in the case file. This is completely absurd and reeks of incompetence. To make matters worse, they disregarded the road markings that were crucial to proving my innocence. As a result, I was unjustly denied the return of my £700 Excess Amount, simply because, according to them, there was "no proof" that I wasn't at fault. This is nothing short of legalized extortion! This company is unprofessional, unreliable, and clearly not interested in providing the service they promise. Save yourself the headache and avoid them at all costs! Reviewed on: 2nd September 2024
