Churchill are utterly appalling
Churchill are appalling - don't touch them! I had car insurance with them 11 March 2018-11 March 2019. I contacted them in good time (13th February 2019 - spoke to Diane) and stated categorically that I wouldn't be renewing with them. I received an auto-renewal letter on 15th March (4 days after renewal date) and rang again. Spoke to Kirsty who assured me she had accessed my details and that she had absolutely ensured that the policy had been cancelled and ABSOLUTELY Churchill would not take my money. Just checked my bank account and today - 19th March and guess what - they've extracted £204.96 - 8 days after my policy with them expired. And this amount bears no relation to anything mentioned in their letters. Fortunately I have just enough in my account not to be overdrawn, but if I hadn't I could be in big trouble as I live on a very tight budget. I expect to spend a very frustrating morning tomorrow trying to get my money back from these robbers. Nothing they tell you on the phone is true. I shall warn all my friends not to touch them.
