Water leak

Had two severe water leaks in the garden. Churchill arranged everything. The contractors were quick, efficient and left the garden as good as it was before. (even replanting some shrubs)

Churchill changed my policy without my permission

Churchill changed my policy to remove breakdown cover without my permission. I called to remove DriveSure from my policy because it is a massive pain... Churchill changed my policy to remove breakdown cover without my permission. I called to remove DriveSure from my policy because it is a massive pain where you have to input every time you are in a vehicle that is not driven by you. When I called to remove it, they also removed my breakdown cover without notifying me! I called to tell them but they didn’t believe me and they said they would have to listen to the call back. Each deadline they set to get back to me they missed. I called back 3 times and each time they had not investigated. Calling them is a pain, so many automated security question that are then repeated as soon as you speak to somebody. They couldn’t even give me quote to add breakdown back on so I have no breakdown cover at the minute. Having to avoid long drives for now until they can sort it. That’s the holiday ruined this weekend. Read more Read less

Quote rose over £250 between Compare the Market & Churchill On 24th October 2024, I was forwarded to Churchill via Compare the Market for car... Quote rose over £250 between Compare the Market & Churchill On 24th October 2024, I was forwarded to Churchill via Compare the Market for car insurance. However once forwarded to the Churchill site; the price jumped by over £250. I then queried this increase via a chat box agent who requested that I send him a screenshot of the Compare the Market quote. I did this but he could not explain the increase and suggested that I phone up and speak to Churchill direct!!! I wasted over an hour with him attempting to take out insurance; but lost faith with Churchill; so went to Aviva via Compare the Market and within 15 minutes took out my car insurance. No hassle with Aviva, price as quoted by Compare the Market. Simples! Read more Read less

    My car was hit by a hit and run driver and Churchills could not have been more helpful. I will always recommend them after my excellent experience.

    Good customer service with fairly rapid response time on the phone. Not yet had to make a claim, so no experience of that.

    Have Insurers lost the plot?

    My policy is due to be renewed soon but the quote I received has an incease of nearly 40%. When challenged I was immediately offered... My policy is due to be renewed soon but the quote I received has an incease of nearly 40%. When challenged I was immediately offered a discount of £50. However I was able to get slightly better cover through a comparison website at marginally less than I paid last year. The business model is flawed as there is no loyalty to customers rather one of quoting a randomly high premium and seeing if it is noticed. Read more Read less

    4 yeard with Churchill Insurance

    I have Car Insurance with Churchill for 4 years now and they always met the need. If another insurance company offered a lower price then... I have Car Insurance with Churchill for 4 years now and they always met the need. If another insurance company offered a lower price then Churchill price-mached it and so they kept me their customer.
