Very unprofessional service from Close Brothers don'...

Very unprofessional service from Close Brothers don't have corporate ethicks Lorraine from Complain team has least experience to handle customer, Close Brothers Motor Finance poor managment system cant be trusted at all. also they have all dodgy dealers, broker plus support all dodgy car dealer she will go at any label for her greed. a finance to purchase a BMWX5 YC65TZM on 21/2/24 car was with full of serious fault 1. Drivetrain Engine Failure 2. Brocken suspension 3. Break does not work at all I inform her and rejected this car on 23/2/24 within 3 days of purchase close brother Lorraine refuse to listen to me even force me to take that faulty car I have requested her to inspect or arrange the repair evidence bill receipts etc she just bang phone on my face, after 3 weeks I have collect the vehicle on 20/3/24 again on 25/03/24 the same fault Drivetrain and poor Breaks I have send all evidence audio, Video and emails but still to close brothers finance and dodgy broker choose my finance or choose my car they simply refuse to cooperate. Very unprofessional attitude I am not sure what was their personal interest on forcing me to buy this car else in UK as per law if there is fault in the vehicle can reject within 6 months but they force me all the way to collect this car now I have collected the car and sent it to BMW main Dealer to inspect the car. I was socked when I got the report from BMW there are more than 8 serious faults including drive train, main battery does not work attached mileage wise fault on the top of that I have not even received V5C after 5 Weeks. this was very disappointing for a customer the dealer, broker and the finance company does not cooperate at all I spent another £2000 on my taxi bills etc which is they have to compensate, to get fair justice in the UK now I am seeking legal advise to sue all of them for selling faulty vehicle, forcing customer to drive a faulty car and mental harassment from last 6 weeks. Be careful read all of the small print

I've just sat and read.my agreement again, I borrowed 10 as I put a large deposit down. Advised a monthly payment I'm paying back 5k interest. Trying to get through to cancel the agreement. Been on hold nearly an hour. First person obviously working feom home answered dropped my call back on hold Reviewed on: 11th August 2023

Honestly don't care about customers

I've had a vehicle financed through them since December 2022. Drove the car for a few days and noticed the car wasn't driving straight. Turns out the veichle had damage from a previous smack that's tried to be covered up off the books. I've emailed and called countless times and no one is ever available to answer. Just a complete joke of a company. I have no access to any other vehicle and I can't even drive this one. Reviewed on: 4th July 2023

awful company

i had purchased a car using Close Brother MF in 2019 and paid off said car in 2020. They refused to remove the credit markers for 3 years, stating i was defaulting since 2020. (After multiple requests to do so). I made a complaint and they finally removed it from my credit file. i was told i was due 150 compensation, and yet 3 weeks later i still have nothing to show for it. i will be contacting ombudsman with my complaint. Do not use this finance company

Close brothers motor finance have no customer service . As a customer that has paid every payment for 3 years , I had an issue with my bank and 1 payment did not get paid on the date it was due to be paid ( by Direct Debit ) BUT I promptly paid it the following day , they then send me a letter to say they are charging me £25 for a late payment fee and £15 for a that letter , I emailed their complaints department twice and they don’t have the respect to reply . I would not recommend this company or if I ever need finance again it would never be with close brothers !. Reviewed on: 5th June 2023

Bad

I am really disappointed with profesionalism of this company. There works by a bunch of claunes and not a professional. One person wrote back to an email where he was not helpful at all, I waited more than 30 minutes to the phone call, without an answer. This should not treat your clients. Please do not read the highest ratings because they write their employees. I will write everywhere and warned against this company, I regret that I decided to do it Reviewed on: 15th May 2023

not regulates , total fraud

Warning these guys are not egulated by the FCA! Any misconduct you wll not be able to report them. They illegaly set up a direct account to access my account without me agreemin their terms . when I reported it They saiD you can go to the FCA, but they will not have our approval to investgate. No issues, smooth running

I had the chance to experience close brothers car finance over the past 7 months and had no issues. Customer service spot on also getting information over the phone was efficient on their side. Would I use them again probably not due to the circumstances I was in at the time and needed a new car for job. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2023

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!

Honestly the biggest shambles of a company ever experienced !| Made a formal complaint regarding the car we had taken finance out on as it had broken down / engine was in smoking and multiple other things over four times in the first six weeks of owning the car. Michele Taylor from Close brothers "head of complaints" apparently !!!! Was honestly the most unhelpful person I have ever met, SEVEN MONTHS later I am still chasing her. She avoids phone calls, no response to emails, when you do get hold of her she makes ridiculous excuses non of which solve the fact that I am paying for a car I cannot use !! STILL we have no solution. I wouldn't touch this finance company with a barge pole !!!!!!! Still waiting for a call back eight months later. DIO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!! Just stay away
