I have been really impressed by Ecology Building Society. They are clear, transparent and straightforward. And when you communicate with them you speak to a real person who actually gets your situation. They were there for me this year when I needed them. Reliable ethical banking

Helping people and the planet

Ecology provides me with a method of financing a rejuvenation in housing stock abd also reducing the carbon footprint of accomodation. I also receive a fair return on my investment. It's a win, win, win situation! Reviewed on: 14th March 2022

Caring for customers not just profit.

Despite the low interest rate the society has kept it's word and did maintain the 1% interest on one of it's accounts I fully expected they could have called a force majeur senario but honesty and integrety is what builds a good reputation. I am proud to be a member and supporting their green credentials too at a much needed time. Reviewed on: 13th March 2022

Ethical saving

I have been saving with Ecology since 1990 mostly via their ISAs. It is the greenest of all my investments, so I know that my money is being put to good use. I enjoy reading their newsletters. It is the only financial organisation whose AGMs I attend, because they are informative, educational & great fun. Reviewed on: 13th March 2022
