GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

Great idea just need more shops on the list as unable to use in Primark

My DD of 10yrs absolutely loves her gohenry card, it makes her feel very grown up, I also have peace of mind, knowing that she hasn't got paper money or coins that can be lost or stolen from her. Topping up straight from my bank account is easy and saves me having to root around for change, I can see exactly what, where and when she has used her card, especially so when she's with other family members or with friends family. My son takes pride and ownership of his GO Henry; he immediately started donating money to charity, he saves for his favourite toy, he is motivated by doing jobs to earn and GOHenry is giving him far more awareness, and the value of money in general. His understanding of work and reward, is improving and I am very happy he now has his GoHenry. As a divorced parent, he earns pocket money for his chores when with both parents separately- only improving his feelings of his divorced parents being united by something he can see immediate and tangible results from. This card has really enthused my son, who is visually impaired and has some learning difficulties, to take an interest in managing his own money. He is enjoying the independence it has given him and he is even saving too. Reviewed on: 6th November 2019
