Review of the Healthy Pets, Pet Insurance:

Absolute bunch of con artists.

Absolute bunch of con artists... like others have commented. I was in the unfortunate position to have to make a claim in Oct 2024 for my dog... My vets completed the documents and sent them to Healthy Pets, I didn't hear anything so chased them the end Oct, HP stated they hadn't received them so my vets sent the documents again.. again I heard nothing.. I chased again the beginning of Dec to be told yes we now have your claim... I waited heard nothing, called again 21/12 to be told yet again we don't have your claim.. we will call your vets... I waited.. yeah you've guessed it I heard nothing, chased again 10/1 to be told still no record of claim.. they will call the vets direct.. now the 16/1 and Ive heard nothing. For a company that are very quick to increase costs and add deductions as your pets gets older it is near on impossible to actually make a claim... DO NOT TOUCH THEM.. really shocking service. Quick and easy

I was sceptical of getting insurance for my pets as I’ve heard they don’t pay out and are hard to claim through! Which meant I didn’t bother claiming for quite a few appointments! But when my cat Maizie had a ongoing skin condition I decided I needed to claim after the vet mentioned it! All I had to do was print a form of and get the vet to fill it in then send it of to Healthy Pets. I still didn’t believe I’d get the money as I didn’t even have the highest insurance option... but within ten days I had my refund! So I paid for the higher insurance as I’d had a good experience! Furthermore I contacted healthy pets a few times on Facebook and they messaged straight back! Reviewed on: 22nd July 2019

Charlie operation

Charlie cat was having a lot of visits to vets with urinary infections. Healthy Pets were very helpful were very quick with helping out with claims. Charlie ended up having a major op which saved his life and Healthy Pets were there when we needed them . Reviewed on: 18th July 2019

A brilliant insurance company

I’ve been with Healthy Pets for 13 years now and they have always paid out all of my claims without any problems at all. They deal directly with the vets and are very fair and well priced. No hidden clauses or costs. They text me to update me on my claims which is really helpful. When one of my cats died last year, they even sent me a card! Would highly recommend. Healthy Pets are Fab!!

Nothing to say but how wonderful this insurance is! I have been with them for 6 years now and would never leave! The staff are always lovely when I call, claims are paid out quickly! All in all, its great!!!! Reviewed on: 18th September 2018
