Took out this pet insurance for my cat, and have just bought a puppy and will be insuring her with these, exceptional service..

Absolute bunch of con artists.
Absolute bunch of con artists... like others have commented. I was in the unfortunate position to have to make a claim in Oct 2024 for... Absolute bunch of con artists... like others have commented. I was in the unfortunate position to have to make a claim in Oct 2024 for my dog... My vets completed the documents and sent them to Healthy Pets, I didn't hear anything so chased them the end Oct, HP stated they hadn't received them so my vets sent the documents again.. again I heard nothing.. I chased again the beginning of Dec to be told yes we now have your claim... I waited heard nothing, called again 21/12 to be told yet again we don't have your claim.. we will call your vets... I waited.. yeah you've guessed it I heard nothing, chased again 10/1 to be told still no record of claim.. they will call the vets direct.. now the 16/1 and Ive heard nothing. For a company that are very quick to increase costs and add deductions as your pets gets older it is near on impossible to actually make a claim... DO NOT TOUCH THEM.. really shocking service. Go elsewhere, long claim waiting times....
As people say, you can’t really assess an insurance company until you need to make a claim, which is why we are currently giving 1... As people say, you can’t really assess an insurance company until you need to make a claim, which is why we are currently giving 1 star. Over 4 weeks ago, our cat was injured in an accident and underwent a successful surgery. However, the last 4 weeks have been full on anxiety any sleepless nights as they claim still hasn’t been assessed. To our surprise, they told us 4 weeks is their current claim processing time, far exceeding the 10 working days they state on their website. Even after 4 weeks, when we rang on Friday so could give us no more assurance of when it would be accessed. Coming up to Christmas and will other financial challenges this ongoing situation is making things so much worse for our mental health and family finances. The reviews were good when we joined, but if you are looking for an insurer that will help in your time of need, I would currently look elsewhere. We are really hoping for a resolution this week before Christmas but it seems very unlikely and our anxiety, stress and uncertainty goes on. Read more Read less

Having insured my dog with healthy pets since 2016 and paid extra for the gold level to ensure my dog had good cover, I was... Having insured my dog with healthy pets since 2016 and paid extra for the gold level to ensure my dog had good cover, I was appalled the companys behavior after making my first claim. My dog, at nearly 12 years old suddenly got ill and upon taking him to the vets, he underwent a scan which showed he had cancer in many places and he was put down that day. I put in my first ever claim (£1200) and was awarded just over £188.00 as the company decided to claim back nearly £600 for the monthly premiums I would have paid had he lived. Their policy states that they reserve the right deduct unpaid premiums not that they will do so. As a customer for many years I wasnt expecting this to happen especially as I have been paying over £60 a month for what I believed would be a good level of cover. Read more Read less

Sadly my cat passed away a few weeks ago, we have had to pay the whole bill whilst waiting to hear back from them which is fine. But only to be told a ridiculous amount won’t be paid for, like the fact she was over 6 so a large amount got deducted. And that we have to pay the remaining contract even though our pet is no longer here, which is absolutely disgusting. They clearly could not care less about their customers and just want to take as much money as they possibly can out of them. Thankyou for making this whole situation that much harder for us. Avoid at all cost
We have been with this company for 2 years and for the first time made 4 clams recently over £500, And we didn’t get back... We have been with this company for 2 years and for the first time made 4 clams recently over £500, And we didn’t get back a penny yet they’re making every excuse not to pay out the clam took 5 months in overall and non of the clams got settled. The process with them is very slow which has affected my dogs health and now has cancer. Read more Read less
