Disgusting. Irritating company

I've had this card not even a few months , and for no reason , it's been blocked , I cannot access anything online. I've been told every time I call that my account is under investigation. But they cannot say why. This is causing a lot of anxiety. All am told is someone will call me once the review is done. That they cannot discuss anything on the account. When I said I'd like to pay my monthly fee , they gave me an account number at which was wrong what was stated online. When I asked the question ,she said , that's what I have. So I said I won't pay then as it's different online. Wtf. This company Is a joke and wished I never got it. It's caused nothing but stress and anxiety that I really should not feel !!! Appalling customer service. I could go on about my complaints but you get the jist!! Fuming is an understatement Reviewed on: 27th December 2023

Having had a credit card with post office for years, I automatically got a jaja card. My credit limit was good and I used the card for small purchases. The app seemed easy to use but unfortunately when I used it to pay off my balance, it worked fine or so I thought. It actually did not process my payments. This happened on three separate occasions and I was therefore charged for late payment. The paper credit card statement also showed details of the account to payoff my balance which also isn’t the actual account number to pay off your balance. In the end I called customer services and paid off my balance and closed my account. There are far better credit card providers out there in my experience. Reviewed on: 6th November 2021

Talking to a brick wall

Called up to request increase in credit limit. Told they don't take requests. Told they review files and offer credit limit increases in their own time Can't tell me whether/when my file is being reviewed. I then asked if they had up to date salary information, as my income is now >2x what it was when I opened the card 5 years ago. Told they don't collect salary information. Really poor and will be cancelling as soon as mortgage application complete. Reviewed on: 14th October 2021

I got an email to tell me my payment was overdue, no email to say when it was due, just after the event to tell me they had taken £14 for nothing. No means of contacting them. Didnt download the app as it has a 1* rating. so trying to do it online, aargh. the statement is so tiny I cant read it, I have to download it to see it. Cancelling as soon as I can get hold of anyone. Reviewed on: 5th September 2021

Unbelievably bad service failures and major errors. 1st CS respondant was unable to retrieve back correspondence from Jaja to me from their system.

40 minutes (!) for transfer to manager A***, despite my polite clarity before the original agent's repeated holds that a manager was necessary. Jaja had previously offered £15 (£50 my bid; declined). Never had any problems ever with other issuers or Jaja's Post Office credit card predecessor. Jaja are blocking/ unblocking my card. Jaja requested postal id; then wrote this was no longer needed. But card blocked yet again (reason?!). No compensatory credit to my a/c was yet made though verbally promised in last call some months ago after 1st block/ unblock/ confusion/ complaint. Despite clearing then debt in full and asking they retain enough of my overpayment, am now racking up a modest 2 figure balance in ?fees or interest that I cannot even pay to clear despite wishing to. So really worse than HOPELESS. 2nd complaint logged by A***, but shan't hold my breath. Reviewed on: 19th August 2021

Jaja Finance claim to offer the next generation credit card. It's a pretty bold claim! Well if next generation means it doesn't work and a terrible service than it's a true claim! Trustpilot has 54% of 1 star comments while 60% are 3 star or below! I am giving up on them! Reviewed on: 24th July 2021

Completely Useless - Don't trust them.

They said that for security purposes, they had to take a small amount from my card, after which they would send a code, which I could use to get a refund. They took £1, but no code ever arrived. Then I got a bill for the outstanding pound. I tried to pay it via a debit card, but it would not allow me to register the card. So I sent a BACs payment from another bank. This took four days to appear in my Jaja account. I filled in their on line complaints form about 5 days ago, but have not even received an acknowledgement. I would close my account, but from what I've heard, this is well-nigh impossible. They a rubbish. Reviewed on: 21st July 2021

Security Shambles!

Be aware if you try to call up to close your account they will ask for the FULL password. Do not reveal your password - it goes against all security protocol. This is a good example of why I am now an ex customer Reviewed on: 17th July 2021

Avoid, avoid, avoid - zero stars

This is the quite simply the worst credit card company ever. I only became a customer because my Post Office account was transferred to jaja. I have a credit balance of over £3,500 on my account after a transaction refund and have tried for several months to get it refunded to my bank account. I have called multiple times and keep being told lies about when it is being refunded. I am still waiting and there is no end in sight. Do not use this company - they are appalling. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Didn't have too many problems with my Post Office credit card until Jaja Finance Ltd took over. They began taking my direct debit payments twice and placed a charge on my credit card to pay me back one of the duplicate payments I am owed. Invested lots of hours into trying to get this money back over 10 months and they now appear to be ignoring the county court. Reviewed on: 1st July 2021
