Completely Useless - Don't trust them.

They said that for security purposes, they had to take a small amount from my card, after which they would send a code, which I could use to get a refund. They took £1, but no code ever arrived. Then I got a bill for the outstanding pound. I tried ... Read more

They said that for security purposes, they had to take a small amount from my card, after which they would send a code, which I could use to get a refund. They took £1, but no code ever arrived. Then I got a bill for the outstanding pound. I tried to pay it via a debit card, but it would not allow me to register the card. So I sent a BACs payment from another bank. This took four days to appear in my Jaja account. I filled in their on line complaints form about 5 days ago, but have not even received an acknowledgement. I would close my account, but from what I've heard, this is well-nigh impossible. They a rubbish.

Security Shambles!

Be aware if you try to call up to close your account they will ask for the FULL password. Do not reveal your password - it goes against all security protocol. This is a good example of why I am now an ex customer

This is the quite simply the worst credit card company ever. I only became a customer because my Post Office account was transferred to jaja. I have a credit balance of over £3,500 on my account after a transaction refund and have tried for several months to get it refunded to my bank account. I have called multiple times and keep being told lies about when it is being refunded. I am still waiting and there is no end in sight. Do not use this company - they are appalling.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Didn't have too many problems with my Post Office credit card until Jaja Finance Ltd took over.
They began taking my direct debit payments twice and placed a charge on my credit card to pay me back one of the duplicate payments I am owed.
Invested lots of hours into trying to get this money back over 10 months and they now appear to be ignoring the county court.

Cannot Register On-line

I was transferred from the Post Office, which had always been very efficient. I have been trying all day to register on-line, so that I can change my address. Every time I go through the entire registration process, I get to the end and a message comes up 'This service is currently unavailable. Please try again later'. If it does not work tomorrow, I will be cancelling the card, instead of changing address! Extremely poor service, which I do not need when moving house!

I did use their suggested contact, they asked for proof of my new address, but no comment on the difficulty of registering on-line! I pointed out that, as I had only moved house 3 days ago, I did not have any bills as proof yet. In frustration, I told then to just cancell my card ..... low and behold, the first efficient action, I got an email, confirming that they had cancelled my account! My advice to anyone considering using a Jaja Credit Card is to make the most of this efficient aspect of their service.

Do not use Jaja

Worse experience of my life dealing with Java and their complaints department haven't a clue! They took over from the Post Office card which was excellent but Jaja are a complete and total disaster in every way!

Nothing but terrible customer service since they took over my Post Office Credit Card. Took 3 attempts to get the account closed, and now money has been refunded to it (from a cancelled holiday) that I can’t get because I “failed security” ! I didn’t know the exact month the account was opened (which was about 12 years ago for crying out loud). Just an awful company to deal with, the sooner I can get my money back and never have to deal with them again, the better....

NEVER use this company - awful service since taking over from PO. flaky app, terrible customer service and last straw since having my credit card moved from the Post Office to JAJA charged a late payment fee, on a zero balance despite DD being set up and unchanged for over 10 years. Awful Service

I had a Post Office card which moved to Jaja. They issued a new card which I never used, but the DD stayed the same. I managed to pay the outstanding amount off with the advisor on the phone telling me that nothing more is owed and the full balance... Read more

I had a Post Office card which moved to Jaja. They issued a new card which I never used, but the DD stayed the same. I managed to pay the outstanding amount off with the advisor on the phone telling me that nothing more is owed and the full balance has been cleared.
2 months later I received an email saying I owe money!?
Basically they didn't close my account, nor advise me that there was £8.94 outstanding from somewhere and they were charging interest.
CALLS ARE RECORDED and I asked them to listen to my previous call when I paid everything off; I assumed they did because I was put on hold for 10mins.
In the end I was led to believe that the Ccard account hadn't been closed and I still them money. I have never even activated the Jaja card. I reluctantly paid because nobody would help. I told the advisor I would hit every social media channel and review. They still wanted the money.

Another month and more demands arrive.

Since this Mickey Mouse Company took over the Post Office cards its welcome to La La Land. Avoid at all costs.

Horrendous Service

Card not working and when you call up they ask nonsensical questions such as is it activated, when they are looking at my account and I've been using it previously. Still can't use card and cannot speak to anyone to get it resolved.

Would you believe it after 7 days I got a call from JaJa security department. They would not tell me why my card and account had been blocked until I answered a few security questions one was details of transactions on my account. Has my account had been blocked I explained this was difficult so asked for my account to be closed. Your account can not be closed until you are able to answer the security questions. I would like to meet Mr Chan the current CEO to see which planet he lives on.

Since JaJa took over from the Post Office, my card does not work and I can't access my account. Twice I have called and been informed that someone will call me back 'as soon as possible', but nobody ever does. It is very worrying that I can't see what has been going on with my account. I was going to call customer services but it is a premium number which may charge me up to 55p per minute. Why should I have to pay to complain? I tried to send an email, twice, but both times it failed to go through. Maybe that is how they keep complaints down. The Post Office used to be really efficient, but the standards have dropped so much and are so dreadful that I resent having to give as much as one star for the service.

Since having my credit card moved from the Post Office to JAJA I have had nothing but problems. Set up a Direct Debit and then had one month no money taken and charged a late payment fee, credit with £740 which was not mine, used the wrong exchange rate on a transaction, blocked my card for no apparent reason and failed to tell me which caused some embarrassment at the petrol station and blocked access to my account. Phoned several times to customer services, which is a joke, has they offer to phone back and never do. For your sanity please do not use this company.

To close the account you are supposed to call customer services- I won't be wasting another hour of my life on the phone just for the whole conversation to be ignored.. Letter to them will be sent so there's a record! Would not recommend this company ever. Terrible service.

Eventually we agreed they would start again with a new card and pin. Non of it ever arrived and that was months ago. I have now given up with them.
