I have had good savings experiences

I have been saving with Kent Reliance for quite some time now. Looking at other reviews, I agree it is irritating when you cannot understand what the agent says and that has been my experience also. However, I have found agents to be very helpful and professional. I have followed up telephone conversations with confirmatory online messages. I am very happy with how my accounts are run online, especially the speed of withdrawals. As an example, I can transfer money from a savings account to my bank in a couple of hours, which is very efficient. Thank you. Reviewed on: 28th December 2022

Totally hopeless bank

Impossible to contact by phone without hours wait, and when they finally answer they can't help with the simplest transaction. Secure messages get answered eventually, promises are made but nothing happens. Very worrying bank. Seem to be completely unable to function at the moment. Reviewed on: 16th December 2022

No customer service

Trying to contact by phone, asked to wait 32 in the line - life is too short... but how else... no secure email, page to join online banking does not go anywhere... they have my money and I cannot access it! Reviewed on: 1st December 2022

Long time to answer calls

Extremely dissatisfied, over the last month I have had to wait to transfer money to my nominated account, being told: 61st in the queue, 52nd the queue and it goes on, very unsatisfactory Reviewed on: 29th November 2022

Setup in 5 Minutes

Setup the ISA account in less than 5 minutes, transferred the min setup £1000. The next day i received both an email and text message to say they had that, logged onto my account and its showing on my balance. I think these accounts are for the computer savey people, if you're looking for a savings account with high interest and you need to speak to someone to get that comfort blanket and/or reassurance there real, maybe an online account isn't for you? Customer service needs a shake up

Had a query as a prospective new customer, waited 82 minutes on the phone. Call centre is in India and unfortunately I couldn’t understand the ladies accent, so I’m none the wiser. Emailed but got no reply. Ridiculous if they want your business. Reviewed on: 17th November 2022

Not recommended at this time

Have been waiting over two weeks to make an internal transfer from fixed rate ISA to Easy Access ISA in order to fund another ISA (with Kent Reliance!). Despite numerous promises to have the transaction done within 3 working days, nothing has been done. I am losing interest daily, because of this. If I phone (and manage to speak with someone after 30 minutes or more) then the advisor is only mandated to give a rote answer that the request will be sent for "processing." Appalling service.

No matter how many times I tried to ring them and no matter how long I waited there was no customer service helper to talk to. You can leave a message but it's been over 30 hours now and still no reply. Tried to register online but they sent me a link to explain exactly which documents were required and this is in an invalid PDF format so that I cannot proceed. Maybe this is the prompt I need to transfer my savings away from them. They appear not to value their customers. Reviewed on: 25th October 2022

Poor customer reply times

New to this bank and wish I had not bothered. Opened fixed bond which had to be funded in 7 days. You cannot get anyone on the phone.if you request a call back it’s 24-48 hours. Send an email or secure message and it’s three days. By the time you get your questions answered the funding window has closed and with it you’re account. Must be very poor staffing levels.
