Easy automated savings

I used the Monzo "1p challenge" savings feature. The first day it adds 1p, the second day 2p etc and runs for a year. At the end of it you've saved over £650 without thinking about it! Great little system that's saved enough to pay for my holiday this year. Really good! Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026

Easy to use, all your money in one place and can be moved around savings pots with ease - great rates (with paid-for benefit). Range is a little limited and there is a constant push towards investments which is annoying, but as a product the savings accounts are pukka. Reviewed on: 9th July 2025
